Andy's Blue House

Clean, comfortable, great location.

Location was great. Room was clean . And breakfast was fantastic. Andy was super friendly and helpful.

The house is bigger than the impression from the picture. It is in a quiet location not far from the water and the town centre, so very easy to walk. The room I stayed in was charming with enough storage area and a bath. Andy himself was very hospitable and helpful.

Staff were very kind, check in was pretty easy. Helpful when we had a question about the temperature in one of the rooms. Good value for money. Offered us a booster chair for our toddler which was helpful. Very accommodating and moved seats around so that my family could sit together. Good value for money & good location (walkable to downtown).

The rooms seemed very basic / dated / bland / not cozy. It needs some fresh touches / upgrades to the rooms and an effort to decorate a bit more. Bathroom was outdated, mattress was not very comfortable. (shower water pressure was low). Breakfast on day 1 was pretty limited, eggs, dumplings, coffee/tea/sausages, bread (no juice, yogurt). On day 2, orange juice & yogurt were provided. Asian music playing in the breakfast area (not too loud) both days. There was a slight smell of cigarette smoke near our room so had to keep doors closed.
