About this house rental
This charming Carmel By The Sea cottage is a short five block walk to Carmel’s downtown. And, yes, you can walk to Carmel Beach, less than a mile away! The cottage is in the sunny part of town, frequently above the fog line. Enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine on the sunny patio where you might have a friendly visit from our blue jay neighbors. There also is a second, usually shady, seating area with a large, round, stone table of the side of the house.
The home has two, private, separated guest suites. The master bedroom is up a half flight of stairs from the main living space. It boasts original art and a hand painted, artisan, king size bed. Down the hall is the bath with a tub/shower combination.
The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed which can be adapted into two twins. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, Electric stove, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave and garbage disposal. The owners love to cook so you will find a full assortment of good knives and cooking tools.
Internet and Apple TV are provided, along with flatscreen television.
The living room has seating and dining area in front of the wood-burning fireplace.
A full-size washer and dryer are in the Single car garage.
There also is ample parking for two cars in front of the house.
No pets and non-smoking please.
Rentals are a minimum of 30 days per Carmel by the Sea statutes. Fees for water and electricity are assessed with reservation. Fees are based on 2 allowed guests. Addional guests will be assessed an additional $10. per night per guest.

Charming house in a good neighborhood within walking distance to the village of Carmel. The wash machine was broken, and the host did her best to get it fixed. Towels need to be of better quality. No drawers in the bedroom for socks and undies. Plenty of closet space to hang up clothes. When we arrived, we were informed that we would have to drive to Monterrey to establish an account with the cable company to have TV for the time we were there. Bring your computer. WIFI was fine. Beds were comfortable. Carmel is a beautiful place and a delight to visit. Audrey, the host, was understanding and cooperative.

I had a wonderful stay in this beautifully decorated, eclectic home, filled with original artwork. I loved looking at the Spanish moss hanging from the trees in the backyard and watching the birds drink from and bathe in the bird bath. The location was great, with quick and easy access to downtown and Hwy. 1.
I have already booked my next stay here, and can't wait to return!

Excellent communication with owner. We enjoyed our stay. Great location and convenient to everything. The private yard is a perfect space to relax and enjoy nature. We had a wonderful time.

Audrey was great to work with. There were some technical difficulties with VRBO and she went above and beyond to contact them to get things straightened out. I highly recommend this house because the owners are trust worthy and care.
