Fantasticly located apartment that is almost impossible sleep in as it isn’t soundproofed

the location is the best! you can visit the main points by walking. The building is in the middle of Plaka's shopping district, yet it's super quiet. The bed is comfortable, the shower is good, air condicionator and wi-fi work well. the kitchen is well-equipped. The host is very helpfull and friendly. Excellent value.

As a suggestion, could have a spatula in the kitchen!

Some of the outside entry lights were burnt out at night, entry and stair lights need to stay on longer at night when you push the button to allow you enough time to get upstairs.

Central location near to all the sights, restaurants - great spot for a short visit to Athens

This is an amazing studio flat. Right in the centre of Plaka, the tourist area - and all the sights are in walking distance. It was comfortable, clean and tidy and had everything you could need for a short stay. It faces away from the Main Street so is quiet. Communication with host was brilliant - plenty of local info and help on hand should you need it.

Although advertised with a balcony - it is a Juliette balcony - and you can’t sit out on it and the view from it isn’t great !

The location was excellent

The bathroom was very small. I was touching the bathroom curtain while I was having a shower. It didn’t have main facilities like soap. The shampoo and the shower jel were used. The view was terrible. The bed cover wasn’t clean. The room wasn’t modern.

We stayed at this apartment for 3 nights and unfortunately on the last night before we were due to check out, our apartment was broken into. There was no safe in the apartment and although it is not mentioned in the description, this is not an unreasonable standard expectation when staying in travel accommodation. It should have been made explicitly clear that there is no safe on the premises as we definitely would not have booked this accommodation! Due to there being no safe provided, valuable items were put into locked luggage. The robbers broke the luggage and stole several items including bank cards, jewellery, an iPad and a passport. The host was not supportive or helpful at all with the incident when we contacted them. In fact, a resident that we spoke to when filing the police report said that this was not the first time that this had happened in the building. Although we understand why the host may not have been so happy to share and disclose this information with guests, we find it outrageously appalling that they showed absolutely no care or concern in warning us to be aware and extra vigilant due to several prior cases in this exact building. They did not provide detailed instructions on how to lock the door securely and should have made it a priority to take further preventative measures.

Superb Location

The location is perfect. It's very near to the Acropolis secondary entrance and walking distance to markets restaurants and etc. It's basically surrounded by them. Our host was really helpful in providing information about everything about the apartment and shops and restaurants nearby. I Recommend this place to stay if you're in Athens

The location was spot on. Lots of restaurants shops and important sites. Comfy bed and size of room with cooking facilities. Shower was good too. Enjoyed Athens alot and will definately consider this place again.

The balcony is just a juliet window with a ledge really but ideal to open for cool air. The corridor is dark from the lift to the room which isn't too fat away though. The lighting was limited in the room.

The location was fantastic. Acropolis Foothills is right where everything is happening. Less than .3 miles to Acropolis. Our only need for an Uber or train/subway was to the airport. The apartment, although small was functional and the bed was comfortable.

The WiFi was a bit slow.
