Location brilliant. Hot tub excellent. Really good location to be off grid and away from people
Was all good

Location, style of cabin, privacy, peace and quiet, all essentials included, self check in, sustainability.
Hot tub had funny smell to it and filled with flies and bugs. Cooking appliances stacked on top of one another. Lack of plug sockets near bedside. No WiFi. Tv would be better if could turn to face bed. Outdoor furniture unappealing to sit on, could do with cushions for comfort. TLC needed in areas.

Charming Shepard’s hut, big enough for two and of course the hot tub! Everything was clean and the bed was ultra comfortable. Decorated beautifully and the views were amazing; cows grazing in the opposite field, hammocks to swing on and a little pond to sit around. It was just idyllic
Not that we were bothered about WiFi, but if you want to be on your phone or tablet you’ll have trouble. The private outdoor seating area could have benefited from having an extra chair

I can't fault the location, the views from the hut were stunning and you're so close to so many different walks if you were staying a long time. Yes it's down a bit of a pot holed lane but you're in the country and my beetle managed it fine! The hut it itself was lovely and had everything you need for a short stay. Well equipped kitchen (if being fussy they could get some matching cutlery and some more glasses as the plastic ones we had were cracked). Bed and chairs comfy. No Internet (which we knew about and no issue with) and very little signal so made to relax and read my book which I enjoyed! Check in was dead easy (just make sure you've got the lockbox number sent via email saved).
The hot tub didn't get above 35 degrees when we were there (despite being set to 38) so we weren't able to enjoy this as much as we wanted. As no Internet or contact number for the place incase of any issues we weren't able to advise the owners of this. It did put a dampener on the stay as we'd specifically booked a place with a tub. There is alot of 'information' around the hut and accommodation/parking areas - while helpful to have and advise about alot of it comes across as quite aggressive (charges will be made!) and I feel this could be reworded to be more friendly and welcoming. It might be helpful to have some information about the local walks, especially as you could just walk from the hut if you were staying a longer time than us. Overall just felt like somewhere people want to rent out to make a little extra cash but to not be bothered by any issues while you're there.
