I would call this a hotel but the staff insist it's a bed and breakfast. Maybe 12-16 rooms all up. Rooms are comfortable if a little sparse. No obvious place to put a bag. Bathroom is spacious. The ceiling painting was a nice touch. Pool is nice, atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. You feel very removed from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento for better or for worse. Breakfast is ok but mostly sweet pastries, cereal and coffee. Would improve with inclusion of fruit, savoury bread, maybe a toaster. Location is about a 10 minute walk from Sant Agnello shops and bus stops. Laura was a welcome sight at breakfast each morning, and helping contact a restaurant when I lost my sunglasses.

Air-conditioning turns off on a timer so I would have to turn it back on around 3am every morning once I became too hot. No real pool amenities. Pool towels would be nice, and a self-service fridge with cold drinks would go a long way. I kept having to go back up to my room to get refreshments. But the fridge in room was temperamental. Sometimes things were cold, othertimes they were at room temperature. Swim cap requirement was a surprise to most guests, and surprising as well that you're made to buy them from the reception instead of being loaned one for the stay. Every guest I saw found out by being told-off by a staff member while they were already swimming. Wifi connection was genuinely terrible. Struggled to stay connected to the access point. I had no connection in reception, at breakfast, or in the bathroom of my room. On the bed I got a weak connection at best. Presumably needs more access points distributed throughout the hotel. At least I made good progress on my novel.

The room exceeded our expectations. Very neat and nice sheets. Consuelo was really on top of us for anything we needed. She was more than helpful in different occasions and made sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was very Italian.You get a variety of coffees, cheeses and croissants. The pool was really nice and staff was friendly.

Firstly the good - the hotel was conveniently located near train station. The area was quiet and peaceful and off a main road. The pool area was nice and clean and the pool was well kept. The owner was very helpful and provided a kettle when asked but no cups! We had an adequate breakfast each morning, an addition of some fresh fruit would have been welcomed as it was mostly sugary cakes and toast and jam. There were eggs each morning but hard-boiled and not everso clean! The lady in the breakfast area was very helpful and friendly, made great coffee too.

There were sometimes not enough sunbeds for everyone and they had wooden beds which were very uncomfortable but we noted on the last day they had been given some padding. Our room was pretty basic, there was no-where to put our smaller items such as pants etc and the wardrobe was quite small for long clothing.
