Quirky property with a lovely host. Enjoyed our stay.

Quirky property with good facilities. We got upgraded to the bus and it was perfect. Was nice to have the common area to cook dinner in. The continental breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. Our host was lovely, very chatty and had the cutest dog!

The showers are button operated at a set temperature and you have to hold the button in otherwise the water turns off quickly. Otherwise no issues, loved our stay.

Great place to stay combining character and comfort

Caravans were beautifully restored and very comfortable. Electric blanket was great on the colder nights. Well-equipped self-catering kitchen stocked with basics such as cooking oil, salt, herbs and spices etc. Free tea and proper coffee all day. Free breakfast (cereals and toast) provided which we hadn't expected. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Nothing; it was all good. If I had to suggest an improvement, could boxes with lids be provided in the showers to put clothes in so they don't get wet.

The caravans are decorated really nicely. The beds all have an electric blanket, so they never feel damp. There is a table and chairs outside each one. The showers are hot. There is a nice atmosphere there.

A hidden gem -will return

Anthea is a super host -she handled everything with ease (even storm Betty). It is a magical place and as a solo traveller I felt right at home. The facilities are excellent and the communal/kitchen space large, welcoming and well stocked with the basics and more . Will definitely return.

The caravan is very clean and cozy. The kitchen inside the cottage is very good!

There is no soap/shampoo support inside the showers and the showers are outside. In the winter it can be a big problem.

I recommend it 100%. I spent 3 days there. I felt very comfortable, it is a very special place for its environment surrounded by nature. The person who runs it is charming, she gave me recommendations of the place and an excellent treatment. In my case I decided to stay there for a tour to Skellig Islands, if you are going to do the tour in my opinion it is perfect because it is a few minutes from Portmage. Whether you go on the tour or not, it is a wonderful place to stay.

Ideal for a short stay.

I stayed in the Boathouse which was cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Great view over the bay. Friendly and helpful host.

I missed having the bathroom and shower as an ensuite as I had to get up during the night and go out to the separate facility but I didn't mind as I was only staying one night.

It was really cozy and comfortable and a perfect romantic night.we were the only ones there it was mid week and poured rain but we sat outside for hours under a blanket and it felt like the best hotel room in Kerry.

First time in a caravan.

I loved the peace and quite you got here, it's so pretty. The location is perfect and the woman running the place was so nice.

It's wasn't a major issue but just going down to the loo in the middle of the night.

Very good

Had a lovely stay here, great welcome and very relaxed vibe. The owner could not have been more accommodating,everything was provided, warm showers, fantastic kitchen area with milk, cereal, tea, coffee and jams etc. Great walking routes and fabulous beach recommendations. The caravan was basic but you get what you pay for so if you want to chill away from the maddening crowds, at a very reasonable rate this is the place for you, if you are lucky enough to reserve one…. don’t hesitate.
