About this apartment rental
This historic, award-winning farmhouse from 1835 is beautifully situated in the former artists' colony Holzhausen a. Ammersee. There, where once the artist community "The Plaice", to whose members u. A. Eduard Thöny, Adolf Münzer and Mathias Gasteiger counted, today farms lined up with their expansive meadows and fields to each other. In the tranquil health resort Utting it is only a 10 minute walk along the lake.
The luxurious, spacious apartment "Beim Wehnerbauer Ost" has just been completed (March 2018). It is located on the second floor of the restored farmhouse in the center Holzhausen. Upon entering the apartment you will be surprised by the generosity and openness of the bright rooms. Here an environment was created with love, which embodies the modern luxury and at the same time links to the tradition of the house. The very tasteful selection of colors and materials creates a special feel-good atmosphere. Each window offers views of the nearby lake and the Alps.
The apartment is on two levels, connected by a steel spiral staircase. On the upper level there are two bedrooms (ideally a parent and a children's bedroom). The spacious living area with bath and separate toilet leaves plenty of free space and space to stay - even in bad weather.

The property is in a small little town right next door to a working farm. You can hear cows once in a while mooing. The rooster crowed in the afternoon, not at 5am, thank goodness. Had pretty much everything you need. The only negative was that it was very warm with no AC and only one fan in an upstairs unit. You could walk to the lake and restaurants. We didn't do as much so be aware that parking is very limited. No microwave or coffee pot. Used the plastic filter holder and boiled water to make coffee. The home was very relaxing.
