beautiful retro house.

the house is a beautiful,even tho the interior is a bit old and dated,but it had a charm.The room was clean.The location is good.It’s situated 2 min away from the train station.There are alot of good hikes nearby and it’s one train station from garmisch or mittenwald.

the only thing i didn’t like is there is only one restaurant in klais,which is located on a busy road about 10 min from the property,but that is not the property’s fault.Just something to keep in mind.

Spacious apartment, very comfortable with everything you need. Amazing view on the mountain, huge balcony. Owner was very friendly and helpful in all aspects. Kitchen is filled with everything needed for a good stay. Good free parking. Everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Week in Klais

The location was convenient for local attractions, some of which could be accessed using the guest card free or at discount, this also provides free bus transport. The property was well equipped and exceptionally clean. We were impressed and hope to return in the future.

Superb

Easy going and friendly owner living in the same house I guess. I indicated my arrival time later than official check-in. Owner deposited keys in a locker - you have to ask a code in advance. Nice self catering place to stay with all basic practicalities provided. The house is located in a small village next to the main road which is quite handy.

A clean and secluded stay, yet easy access to everything in the region. I would love to come back

Our apartment, as part of a bigger house, was very private with a lovely balcony overlooking the back yard and mountains in both directions. The sunsets were very romantic. There was parking for our car and a locked shed for the bikes. The kitchen had all needed utensils and everything was really clean. The WiFi was solid, even with 2 phones, tablets, a chromecast and several Garmin devices. At first I was worried that the apartment faces in the direction of the train station/main road, but we could barely hear anything, even on the balcony. Talking about the train station, this is an excellent point to begin any hike. We got the first train possible ( I think it was 5:15) towards Garmisch and began the Garmish - Reintal - Zugspitze hike, just in time to slowly summit at 3pm. The owners provided us with a tourist card, which gives you free access to the local buss network and discounts on many activities. That was really helpful for reaching the small cultural centers in the region, gorges and the breweries. The owners were very pleasant and cheerful, obviously taking pride in their home.

One small detail: If there was a small amount of coffee in the apartment, just to get us started on the first morning, that would be amazing. There is no store in the village and we drove 12 hours to get there, so there was no time to stock up. Secondly, most importantly, the floor creeks a lot. So much, that when my partner was turning around in bed I was waking up in a panic. He even woke up and he usually is a deep sleeper.

A nice stay in Bavaria

Very nice room, comfortable and clean. There's also a balcony with mountain view. Everything you need is there in the kitchen. The staff was friendly and the location was ideal for hiking or visiting the nearby lakes. It was a pleasant and relaxing stay there.

Ask the hosts what to do with your trash - because it's not obvious and no one removes it for you.

Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft

Wir waren mit dem kleinen Apartment im Erdgeschoss mit Kochzeile, kleinem Bad mit Dusche und kleiner Terrasse seitlich vom Haus sehr zufrieden, für zwei Personen ideal. Wir konnten unsere Räder sicher unterstellen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, sie wohnen im selben Gebäude und sind somit bei Bedarf erreichbar. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Gegend ist sehr schön auch für Radler und die Wohnung liegt nahe beim Bahnhof.

Vielleicht ein weiterer Liegestuhl für die zweite Person, die Töpfe hatten keine Deckel, es gab keine Knoblauchpresse, aber es geht natürlich auch ohne!

FE-Wo in Wohlfühlgröße, also bisserl mehr Platz als gewohnt....im Wohnzimmer wäre Platz für 3 zum Yoga machen gewesen :) Sehr sauber! (Hier muss auch nichts mit schrecklich gut duftender Wäsche kaschiert werden.) Entspannte und freundliche Gastgeber. Perfekt auch als direkter Wanderstartpunkt.

Lage zwischen Mittenwald und Garmisch. Wohnung spartanisch mit alten Möbeln eingerichtet. Kein Sessel oder Couch vorhanden. Mussten abends auf unbequemen Holzstühlen oder Eckbank im Schlafzimmer sitzen. Küche nur das allernötigste vorhanden. Edelstahlkochfeld aus den 90er Jahren von mir leider beschädigt. Versicherung gemeldet. Wohnung sehr dunkel, da Erdgeschoss mit darüberliegenden großen Balkon. Terrasse sehr schön mit Blick auf die Berge.Wohnung sauber.

Sauber und gut ausgestattet

Inneneinrichtung zwar älter, aber sehr gepflegt und sauber. Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man eben so braucht. Nicht zu weit weg vom Schuss, aber weit genug, um ordentlich due Ruhe genießen zu können. Traumhafter Ausblick. Super schöne Seen einfach und schnell zu erreichen! Würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Die Badezimmertüre könnte mal eine Ladung Öl vertragen. :) Sonst alles Top!
