ORBI Palace is near cable cars and mountain so it's good location if you want to walk up to the mountain. It is climbable with kid. For extra price (10 GEL per person) you can go swim into the hotel's pool and for us it was completely private experience as it is Corona times and there are not many clients in the hotel.
ORBI Palace is about 30 minutes by foot from Bakuriani center so you might need to take taxi. Taxi to/from center was about 7-8 GEL for us as tourists. You might want to go to center because best places to eat are in it. I personally recommend Mimino or Cafe De Novo to eat and avoid Chveni which is nearby ORBI Palace.
