The flat has a great location in the centre with a lot of shops, cafes within walking distance. Bus station within 4 minutes walk. Buses to the airport go even at night.

The towels were too thin. They seemed to be washed, but there was someone’s hair in them.

Tumble drier in the corridor working beyond 10pm and from 5am in the morning following day. I had to unfold heavy sofa bed on my own and make the bed after late arrival! Crumbs on the single bed - wasn’t sure if the bedding was changed there. No blinds or curtains!!! I was awake from 4.30 cause it was so light outside! Honestly, Polish people don’t seem think that curtains which block the whole window are essentials for a good stay!

The rooms has a really central location, close to everyhing, even the main station is just a short walk away and lots of shops and reataurants are nearby, in addition, the main square Rynek is just around the corner. I liked the easy check in as well as the really good communication by the owner and even the wifi worked well. The common spaces are really nice, with good odour, I wish the rooms could be the same level!

There is a TV and a fridge in the room, but none of them works. I texted about these problems to the owner, he promised someone to come to check them the next day, but no one ever came, so we spent all our time without a working TV and a working fridge. The window blinds are half as wide as the windows, so you if you are a light sleeper, don't expect to have dark in the room in the morning and don't forget that there is a busy tram stop just in front of your room and the windows are not sound protected. The description also says there is a washing machine in the kitchen and it is true, there is really one - but you can't use it, because it is always packed with used bed linen. The beds are not really comfortable and if you open the so-called 'sofabed', you can't even get to the room because there is not enough space, so you have to move furniture every evening and every morning. To cut a long story short, due to its central location this accomodation could be a gem - but in its current state it is by far not. I plan to re-visit Katowice in the near future, but next time I'll stay somewhere else, this room (#2) was absolutely disappointing.
