Great apartment in beautiful location

Very nice apartment with bedroom upstairs, kitchen fully equipped, apartment right on the Belgium/French border, easy access to shops on French side.

Relaxing stay in accommodation with lovely character and French style

We absolutely loved this gorgeous accommodation. It had so much character, both inside and outside. (One of the main reasons that we chose this). The kitchen was well equipped for self-catering. All in all, we had a relaxing stay here and would definitely stay here again if we were travelling in the area. The bed was reasonably firm, but we found it very comfortable.

We loved the steep stairs to the bedroom (part of the character), but they are not suitable for everyone. Unfortunately, we had no wifi for our stay, which was frustrating. We advised the owner, and she advised that she would call the technician.

Exceptional

Charming little attached home with three outdoor seating areas. Restaurants in every direction and grocery shopping near by, as well as a wonderful bakery, Boulangerie du T' Heeroir. Rooms are large and beautifully and comfortably furnished with a full kitchen with plenty of space. Some might find the stairs a little steep. Host Catherine keeps in touch to be sure all details are taken care of-a welcome bottle of wine as well! Excellent for a long stay or romantic getaway. Feel happy and welcome here

Pleasant stay

Tidy and cozy house, cute decoration. We had everything what we need, kitchen equipments, towels, blankets etc. The heating worked well. We received a welcome gift which was very nice.

The stairs are steep that was a bit uncomfortable and I could imagine a more comfortable sofa, but these are not big problems.

The place is perfect with extra useful stuffs available (coffee, sugar, towels, bed lining, etc). Possibility to store bikes. Very nice countryside with a lot of nice nature walks.

Going up and down on stairs could be very challenging for people with limited mobility.

La Petit Douane ist für Naturliebhaber sehr gut gelegen, mit Komfort für ein erholsames Verweilen

La Petite Douane ist für Ausflüge in die Ardennen und Wallonien und zu den Orten wie Dinant und Givet sehr gut gelegen. Die Küche ist einfach eingerichtet und man kann problemlos auch aufwendigere Gerichte kochen (zum Beispiel ein Risotto mit Lamm und Gemüse). Platz hat es genug und die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll mit vielen kreativen Details. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und konnten uns in dieser Natur sehr gut erholen. Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter.

Mooi schattig klein huisje met alle comfort,zeer mooi ingericht. Vriendelijke en correcte verhuurder,die een flesje wijn had voorzien als welkomstgeschenk.

De accommodatie was super,de streek vonden we iets minder.

Ein kleines, süsses Häuschen

Absolut alles! Wir durften sogar etwas früher in die Wohnung, wo uns eine Flasche Wein erwartete :-) Es war alles vorhanden; angefangen von mehreren Duschgels bis hin zu Geschirr und Gewürzen und vielem mehr. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und sehr sauber.

Un séjour très agréable, la maison est tout à fait conforme à la description proposée et très bien entretenue. L’accueil est chaleureux, avec tout le nécessaire pour s’y sentir comme chez soi ☺️ Un grand merci !

JOLI LIEU FOLKLORIQUE

Petit hébergement mignon. Très bien équipé. Je conseille vivement ce lieu où il doit être agréable de passer un moment en terrasse en été.

Les escaliers sont assez raides. Attention aux personnes à mobilité réduite.

Historisches Flair im alten Zollhaus

Liebevoll restauriertes kleines Häuschen mit nostalgischem Flair. Wir waren im Winter dort und haben dank der Fussbodenheizung nicht gefroren. Für 2 Personen mit eigenen Fahrzeug ( es gibt einen Parkplatz direkt am Haus) eine schöne Unterkunft, auch unser Hund war Willkommen. Die Region ist wunderbar zum Wandern, Mountainbiken und zum Entdecken (kulinarisch, historisch, in der Natur)

Im Ort selbst gibt es keine Geschäfte, aber im ca. 4km entfernten Givet ist alles erhältlich. Da man sowieso mit eigenem Fahrzeug anreist, ist dieser Umstand nicht wirklich ein Manko.

Het afgesloten tuintje is heel leuk voor de honden

Vroeg wakker door het vele licht dat binnenkwam omdat er geen verduisterende gordijnen waren. Dit is eenvoudig op te lossen
