MM Legacy - A Bergamont Hotel, Kanchipuram

We had a wonderful experience at MM Legacy- Bergamont Hotels. The property is exceptionally well-maintained, and the cleanliness of the rooms deserves a special mention.Rooms were spotless and very comfortable.Ample Parking facility available within the premises.We ordered Panneer Tikka which was outstanding.The breakfast spread was also good.Gym was well maintained .Will definitely be visiting again!

Hotel is very good and staf was very helpful and professional. Young lady Ankita on the reception as other guys there were very kind and helping even more than their professional duties required. Location is a bit far from the city, so count on half an hour ride (20 min at least) to reach main attractions and shopping area. Price is appropriate for that category hotel. Room and bathroom are spacious and clean with all the amenities. Swimming pool at the roof looked ok, but a few deck chairs wouldn’t hurt. And repaired floor. Complimentary breakfast was very tasty with a choice of some 10-15 dishes. Mostly Indian but some western too.

Breakfast was good. It can be better. The early morning start could have more items to begin with. Especially the Egg station, Dosa station.

More healthy options

Clean facility, good amenities. Mr Fabian in the hotel restaurant is a very social person, a good PR resource for the hotel.

We both got food poisoning from the food we ate in the restaurant. Either from fish or the fresh pomegranate juice we drank. Had very bad stomach upset. Spent the whole night vomiting unable to eat anything next morning. Had to skip the breakfast and leave. Also the girls at the front desk were insisting that we pay the amount of the hotel stay before checking in from 48 hours before. We have never heard of any hotels doing that. In fact the Booking. Com has clearly mentioned their policies. The staff however continued to insist us by phone, text and email almost to the point of harassment. Moreover the contact number they called us was under a certain ‘umbrella Mart’ that made us more suspicious.
