A great home base right in the heart of old Sorrento, just steps from Piazza Tasso — everything you need is within walking distance, including Frankie's Pizza, one of the best pizza spots in Sorrento, located right underneath the building. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, handled entirely via WhatsApp — no issues at all. The building's old coin-operated lift has been upgraded to an NFC tag system (comes with your key), which is a nice touch, though the lift itself is still painfully slow and small — in the summer heat, taking the stairs is honestly the better call. The room itself is airy, bright, and beautifully done — though despite what some listings suggest, don't count on a sea view. One small downside: the window didn't close fully, so some street noise drifted in at night. Pack earplugs if you're a light sleeper, especially given the lively piazza nearby. Bottom line: Unbeatable location, easy logistics, charming room — docked a couple points for the lift and the noise/window issue.

It’s quite noisy in the early morning but to be expected as it’s located right above the street shops. My husband slept through though so not crazy loud

The property location you cannot fault, it was central and easy walking distance to everything, Imma the host was extremely accomodating and helped us with anything she could!

Our aircon in our room was hardly an aircon & it was extremely hot being the middle of summer. There was light in our room that would come on randomly, we were told we couldn’t turn it off as it would come on due to a “current overload” this was not ideal when you were trying to get to sleep. A lot of noise from the pub downstairs, this is out of the properties control but something to keep in mind.
