Nestled on 19 acres of old oaks and stately maples, the newly-constructed Cottage at
Maple Pond offers you the feeling of total privacy—while only a 7-minute drive from
I-77.
New for winter 2025/2026- 4 person barrel sauna.
With 4 bedrooms split between 2 floors and an additional guest cottage available
should you need it, your large group will have plenty of space to unpack, unwind,
and spread out.

Whether it’s Grandpa teaching his teenaged grandson to unhook a fish in 3 seconds

distractions of day-to-day life.

From sunup ‘til sundown, we have a variety of outdoor activities to keep the whole
family entertained.
Whether it’s exploring our nature trails on foot or bike, taking a dip in the hot tub
under the stars, or paddling around the private, 2-acre pond, there’s no limit to
things you can do outside.
AIR HOCKEY, ANYONE?
Should the weather turn sour on you, head inside to the game room that’s sure to
get any teen’s stamp of approval.
Go head-to-head over a game of:

- Ping Pong
- Arcade
- Nintendo & Playstation games
- Skeeball
- Indoor basketball just like the ones you remember from childhood

Finish off a day of laughs and games in our spacious kitchen with ample seating
around an Amish-built, custom oak table.
If a home cooked meal is in your plans, you’ll appreciate the fully stocked kitchen so
no one will waste time on a last minute grocery trip.

Q: What is there to do around town?
A: We are minutes away from Dover, New Philadelphia, and Ohio’s largest Amish
community. Nearby attractions include:
- Historic Zoar Village, Fort Laurens, and The Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail
- Zoar Village Golf Course
- The Pro Football Hall of Fame (25 min drive to Canton)
Q: What about COVID?
A: We are taking extra precautions to keep our properties disinfected, which
includes the use of disinfectant on all door knobs, light switches, railings, faucet
handles, etc—in addition to all high-use areas.
Q: What about the guest cabin?
A: For groups larger than 14, the separate guest Cabin (sleeps 6) is available for an
additional nightly cost ($200/night). It comes with all the amenities:
- Large living room and fully stocked, eat-in kitchen
- Clothes washer & dryer
- Dishwasher
- Brand new electric AC and furnace
- Well water (though it’s perfectly fine to drink, it may have a different smell/taste
than you’d expect if you’re used to City Water)
- Located on the water
Q: Is it pet friendly?
A: Well behaved pets are welcome with well behaved owners. Pets do need to be
pre-approved and there is an additional $100/per pet fee.

We have stayed at The Cottage at Maple Pond with our group of 5 families for 3 years. It never disappoints. Rose pays such great attention to detail and we always have everything we need. This was our first year staying in the winter. While we were sad to not be able to make use of the pond, we enjoyed sled riding next to historic Zoar. Each visit has additional improvements made to the already lovely home/smaller guest cabin. We will be back next year!

This was by far the best Air B&B we have been too! Rose thought of everything, literally! The house is beautifully decorates, clean and the amenities are amazing! Our kids were never bored, there was plenty to do for adults as well and it was so quiet and peaceful! We can't wait to go back again!

We stayed here with five kids under three and had the best time ever. The house is filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay so comfortable. The kitchen was incredible, with a full knife set, a fully stocked spice cabinet, and every cooking utensil and tool we could possibly need. Most rentals barely have the basics, so this was such a gift.
The owner went above and beyond and left us cookies, s’mores supplies, and so many toys and games for the kids. She even had pack n plays, high chairs, and a baby bath waiting for us. Traveling with little ones can be chaotic, but she made it feel easy.
We loved the sauna and hot tub, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. The extra toiletries were such a nice touch too.
We’ve stayed in a lot of places, and this one truly stands out. We would come back in a heartbeat.
