Apartment WAZA - Terrace sea view 100m from the beach of Beliche - Wifi

A very nice apartment - furnished with everything you need. Check-in and check-out went really well. Great restaurant right on the property. Helena and Jean-Louis are incredibly nice and helpful. They respond super quickly to questions. We had a wonderful vacation 😊

Really nice appartement. Atlantic ocean to be seen from every window. Praia do Beliche is a nice beach right across the road. Keep an eye on the tide! Especially when you are at the rigtht side of the beach. Sagres is an cool and relaxed surfer spot. The appartement hosts are very sympathic and quick with a tip. Just stay and relax. You deserved it.

We had a wonderful stay in the Waza-Apartment! We booked the apartment for one week for 2 persons but arrived unforeseen with 3 persons for the first night because of an airline overbooking. This was no problem for Jean-Louis and Helena who quickly provided us for one night with an additional bedsheet! The apartment is well equipped and very tastefully decorated. It has all necessary appliances (even an orange press!). But the most impressive feature is the view from the terrace down to Sagres and over the sea, we could not get enough of it from the morning to sunset! Jean-Louis and Helena as hosts are the crowning touch to this place: their restaurant recommendations (we tried all) are perfect and Jean-Louis’ wave forecast is really helpful! Apart from this they are a wonderful couple full of energy with whom you can have a great laugh! We will definitely come back!

We stayed at the Sagres property after travelling around Portugal. The property was very clean, and had a lovely terrace, and there is a nice beach across the road from the property and down some steep steps! This was a very popular beach and we found ourselves exploring further up the West coast (which the property is ideally located to do) and found some great (and much quieter) beaches. Jean and Helena were very friendly and helpful. There were a few reasons that we did not give this 4 or 5 stars. Firstly the apartment is in a much busier location than presented in the photos with a restaurant directly below it which you can hear late into the evening. Furthermore, the property is quite tired (particularly the kitchen) which is equipped with an old gas oven which we did not get to work, and just needs to be updated. Finally our check-in was quite disorganised and we were made to wait outside for an hour before we could check-in and no earlier check-in was available even though check-out is at 10.30. However I will add Jean did apologise for this, and it was a particularly busy day for him as I believe his partner was not around. Overall it was a good stay and Jean and Helena were nice hosts and we enjoyed exploring Sagres and the surrounding area, but check in should be done promptly when people have travelled a long way, and the property needs a bit of TLC.
