Loved the sauna, bed was very comfortable, everything was very clean. Little welcome box was a nice touch.
Decking was very slippery, not the best for people with walking issues. Condensation in morning was awful and there was a faint damp smell but I suppose inevitable given the location. Didn’t spoil our stay though.

Waterfall lodge was as described, but also better. I am so glad the bed was so big (super king) and comfortable. My partner is very tall and I didn't even know he was in the bed.
I read all the reviews before I arrived and I'd like to respond to them:
The blue lights in the bedrooms were EASILY covered at night.
The sofa isn't brand new but it's still very comfortable and has a lot of life left in it
The sauna was excellent - let it warm up and sit in there for 15 mins! You'll be soaked with sweat. When there's two people you don't need to wait as long.
The huts behind aren't that close at all and it feels very private because there is no through road
The kitchen was well equipped albeit basic so do bring all the extras for cooking.
The TV has live TV but it's not a smart TV (just an FYI)
There is a speaker but I thiiink it needs an aux lead?
There is a lovely walk down to the old castle from the cabins which is quite magical.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time abs would go back.

We loved the site and location. The staff were lovely and so helpful. The cabin was clean and cosy with everything we needed to have a wonderful few days away.
We would have preferred all fees to be included in the price advertised rather than ending up paying extra in person for electricity etc which took us a while to work out what to do. The cabin also had a very strong smell of foist unfortunately, I'm very sensitive to smells so that was a slight issue for me.

The cabin is perfectly located, with a charming mini waterfall right outside and surrounded by peaceful woodlands. It’s just a short drive to the main village of Killin. We especially loved the in cabin sauna — a wonderful bonus to our stay. Glenda one of the owners is lovely and has the best chat.
The cabin shows noticeable signs of wear and would greatly benefit from some care and maintenance. The most significant issue we encountered was a strong damp smell. Thankfully, we had scented candles with us and were able to keep the windows open for ventilation. It’s also worth noting that towels are not provided—you’ll need to bring your own or pay an additional fee to include them in your booking. Given the price, towel service should really be included.
