About this cottage rental
Come see why they say “Life is better at the lake!” Enjoy a relaxing stay at this quaint home with beautiful wide water and mountain views and a gently sloping lot. Cuddle up by the wood-burning fireplace. Or get some fresh air on the open deck and large screened porch with ceiling fans, comfy seating, and outdoor dining furniture overlooking the lake. The property has a fabulous dock with built-in bench seating for you to enjoy the view. Enjoy exploring the lake on the canoe with provided life jackets. The main level of the home is bright, open and airy with a beamed 15’ cathedral ceiling, open to a cozy family room, dining room, and kitchen. Down the hall you’ll find 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. The basement, though separate from the main level, has foosball, TV, and a washer & dryer. Basement also has a second full bathroom (partially finished!) perfect for cleaning off after a day in the lake!
Large covered dock w/ floater, perfect to tie up your personal or rental boat (covered slip & hoist not available for tenant use) and electricity.
Central A/C, Washer/Dryer, Gas Grill, blender, coffee maker, dishwasher 2 Queen beds, 2 Bunk Beds, queen air mattress, 1 queen sleeper sofa (available in the partially finished basement)
Enjoy cocktails while watching the sunset or making S’mores after dark in the comfortable Adirondack chairs surrounding the new fire pit down by the water.
The home is in a quiet, shaded, older neighborhood, perfect for walking & jogging. Lake location is supreme, being near the mountain and the dam at the deepest, and cleanest part of the lake. The quiet, protected cove is very safe for canoeing and waterplay around the dock. We’re conveniently located a half mile from Mitchell's Point Marina and SML water sports and boat rentals.

Items NOT to bring: Worries & stress.
CANCELLATION POLICY: 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date. 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date. Cancellations within 14 days of check-in will not receive a refund.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: No one under the age of 25 may make a reservation. There must be one adult at least 25 years of age occupying the property. That qualifying person must provide payment via credit card for the rental deposit and is responsible for the leased property.

We had THE BEST time staying at the lake house. I only wish we could have stayed a little longer! The house is cozy, open concept kitchen/dining/living so great community space for family/friends. The zero entry into the lake and the deck are just a dream. The weather was perfect, we brought floats and just floated around and layed around the deck a majority of the day. We had a seafood boil out on the deck table at night and enjoyed time by the fire afterward. Scott was attentive when we had any questions or concerns….I will definitely be back. Probably more than once! 100/10. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with family and friends and like being outdoors on the water, this is your place. Thank you, Scott!

Overall wonderful. It appears the cleaning was surface and possibly rushed. found a vaping device under a couch cushion, and dust in the bathroom on the toilet tank. vacuum cleaner overheated 10 minutes into using it. pots for cooking not the best, thankfully, my son-in-law's parents live nearby (didn't know this before renting so really nice surprise) so I was able to secure a griddle and cast iron frying pan. I believe the one smoke detector I could find wasn't working.

The view from the screened in porch is beautiful. The dock with plenty of seating was very nice. Easy access to the beach was wonderful. There were many repairs when we were there that needed attention. The couch and chairs in the picture had been switched out for a couch very old and uncomfortable. The basement was uninviting to sleep or hang out.
