Escape to this charming rustic retreat and immerse yourself in the tranquility of Smith Mountain Lake. Boasting incredible long channel views and a gentle lot, this cozy cabin offers the perfect setting for a relaxing lakeside getaway.
Step inside and be greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors that frame the breathtaking scenery, allowing natural light to flood each level of the house.
While the kitchen may be compact, it is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals during your stay. On the main level, two bedrooms-one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed-await, along with a shared full bathroom. The living room offers a comfortable space to unwind and soak in the lake views. Please note that access to the downstairs is via a spiral staircase, so guests with mobility issues should take note. The highlight of this home is undoubtedly the expansive wrap-around deck, perfect for al fresco dining, sunbathing, or simply admiring the beauty of the lake. Upstairs, a loft area features two twin beds and a convenient half bathroom, accessed via steep steps from the main level.
Venture downstairs to discover a spacious master bedroom with a new king bed and access to a full bathroom with a tub shower. An additional smaller bedroom with a double bed offers extra sleeping space. Step outside to the patio, where a gentle walk leads to the dock, offering the perfect spot to relax by the water's edge. New dock in 2024 offers a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy the exceptional views. Loved the old school vibe. View was fabulous. Loved the boat dock. This house was well equipped with everything needed. Both sets of stairs were a bit treacherous - but we managed! Home was as described - except for the beds and bath- (only 1 shower, 1 bathtub). I was also unaware there was a king bed on this property- and we did not bring sheets for that one. I hope this property is updated with actual beds and needed bedding. I will definitely come back with more friends!

We had a group including my family of three, my wife’s two sisters and their significant others. We had tons of room to spread out and loved relaxing on the large deck with lake views and the floating dock provided hours of fun swimming in the lake and catching small fish off the dock. I brought my 21’ Pontoon which tied up nicely to the dock cleats! The cove is nice and quiet and doesn’t receive tons of wakes in the little corner. The king bed in the basement was comfortable! I slept great every night. It’s clear this house has been very loved and cared for in its lifetime! Pro tip: there’s a table that folds down from the wall (above and next to the couch) that’s perfect for setting up a food buffet!

This property is a rustic get-away nestled in a quiet cove. The property has a great new boat dock with swim platform. The slip stored the property owners boat, but were able to tie-off to swim deck for the wknd which was very convenient. The home has plenty of rooms for multi-gen family visits to the lake. The stairs going upstairs to loft and downstairs to walk-out bedrooms are steep so keep in mind during planning. Property is well maintained and has a rustic charm. We were our stay here again!

The check-in was easy and the air conditioning worked well. The cleaning was done quickly because the crew failed to show up. We found shorts, underwear, and a half drunk can of Red Bull in the loft. The living area doesn’t accommodate 8 people. The kitchen appliances appear to be new. Steps up to the loft and to the downstairs are treacherous. There are many steps down to the dock that need to be disclosed. We left a day early.
