Monte Clérigo - Aljezur - Apartamento T2

A spacious apartment with two bathrooms and a large terrace. A quiet area with a beautiful view of the mountains. Parking space right by the house. Everything was very comfortable. The beach is nearby, and Aljezur is also not far away. A great base for exploring the area.

The hairdryer blew cold air, unless we simply did not know how to use it properly. The kitchen appliances were a little old and worn. It was a pity that the grill on the balcony had not been cleaned of rust. But these were minor details that did not significantly affect our stay.

Very calm. Had everything we needed.

The location is good, it is also not far to walk to the beach and you can walk relaxed over side streets. The apartment is large and the balconies also invite you to relax at home or have breakfast outside. The kitchen and living room is simple but well equipped. We had everything we needed. Nice that we also had plenty of dishwasher tabs, something that is usually always missing. The rest of the apartment is reduced equipped, but for everything there is a place and you can manage. The arrival was easy and the operation of the door lock also. It is nice and quiet and parking is plentiful, mostly also directly in front of the entrance.

The downside of the apartment was definitely the very thin mattresses in the second bedroom. There is two bunk beds with 4 mattresses in total. The beds are cheap quality and don’t have any slatted frame which makes sleeping impossible. We complained about this inconvenience straight to the owner of the apartment. We had the impression that he didn’t take our complain and inconveniences seriously. It took us a few messages and suggestions to make him offer to buy an airbed and order new mattresses. Apparently, he was aware of the problem but was not willing to order them before the end of summer. His management was unprofessional, he did not agree on any discount, offered us two additional nights instead which we could not make use of as we had time constraints. The mattresses eventually arrived by the end of the week. Now, you will be among the lucky ones using them. Hence, the dishwasher wasn’t emptied when we arrived at the apartment. The smoke detector wasn’t existent and the cutlery as well as pans, forms were partly dirty.
