Fabulous home base , in Colle!

We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful home with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed several good restaurants in town and the fabulous pastry shop just down the street. This is a great home base for exploring the surrounding area. We had a rental car so appreciated the nearby free parking lot just outside the gate.

It was a bit stressful having to provide an exact check-in time after a long international flight, rental car pickup and driving on unfamiliar roads. A lockbox for self check-in would be easier. That being said, it was lovely to meet Serena in person and get several helpful tips for our stay.

Wonderful value for those who travel by car. Spacious and clean apartment. Serena is a lovely and a helpful owner. Perfect modern pasticceria (coffee and pastry) in 1 min walk.

Second floor with no elevator - may be a problem if you have difficulties with steps. One of the two double beds is relatively narrow for 2 persons.

The apartment is amazing, very cozy, clean, beautifully decorated. We asked for second set of keys and nice host immediately helped us. Parking was nearby and free. The city is amazing, historical, but not crowded, so very intimate, relaxing, restful. We made trips to nearby medieval towns, which are all very close. Really relaxing and charming stay.

Lovely apartment as a base for driving around Tuscany

The apartment is beautiful, spacious and has recently been renovated; the bathrooms and the kitchen are particularly good. The location is perfect: it is inside the old town, but just at the edge, so it's easy to walk to a large free parking lot. And the town is a terrific base for seeing all of Tuscany, if you have a car.

The apartment is sort of a three-bedroom, and sort of not. The bed in the downstairs bedroom is very small (our two daughters were not happy together in it), though it would be fine for one. The third bedroom is not exactly a bedroom, it's the dressing room for the master bedroom, upstairs. It does not have a door, the bed is a trundle bed (comfortable, though) and it is between the master bedroom and the upstairs bedroom. This layout worked out fine for us, but it might not work for everyone.

Alloggio molto bello , ben tenuto , spazioso e pulito. Posizione ottima, all’interno del borgo e a pochi metri da un comodo parcheggio. Nelle vicinanze ampia scelta di ottimi ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi . Un grazie anche a Serena host gentilissima e disponibile.

Un appartamento meraviglioso!

Abbiamo soggiornato per una breve vacanza di tre giorni in questo meraviglioso appartamento disposto su due piani e in pieno centro storico del bellissimo borgo di Colle val d'Elsa. L'appartamento è arredato con gusto, dettaglio e attenzione dei particolari. Tutto l'arredo, che ricorda i tempi passati,ben si inserisce e si amalgama all'interno di questo appartamento signorile che è stato completamente ristrutturato pur mantenendo dettagli e struttura delle vecchie case tipiche all'interno dei borghi tipici medievali! Inutile dire che l'appartamento dispone di due stanze da letto, una più piccola al primo piano e una bellissima padronale al secondo piano. Tutte e due le stanze hanno ognuna un bagno privato, e tutti e due sono arredati con fine gusto che ricorda i tempi passati! Nell'appartamento di quasi 160 metri quadrati non manca veramente nulla.Una bellissima cucina con lavastoviglie, un bellissimo salotto con camino e al piano superiore anche un intera cabina armadio!L' host Serena inoltre è simpaticissima e di una cortesia e attenzione impareggiabile! Nelle immediate vicinanze della struttura sono presenti ristoranti tipici pasticcerie,supermercati e tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno.Ringrazio Serena per averci fatto vivere una splendida vacanza.Per chi vuole vivere un'esperienza particolare e meravigliosa questo è il posto giusto!

Dimora storica curata nei piccoli particolari. comodo parcheggio gratuito appena fuori dal castello. appartamento pulito , di grandi dimensioni -funzionale e di recente restauro . Era un viaggio di lavoro ma avendo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare in questo appartamento si e' magicamente trasformato in una gradevole vacanza .

Empfehlung für einen Toskana-Urlaub! Die Wohnung und Colle di Val d'Elsa als Ausgangspunkt ideal!

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Haus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert und ist im toskanischen Stil gestaltet. Die Gastgeberin Serena empfing uns bei der Anreise und kümmert sich um alles und hat gute Tipps parat, was man machen und wo man essen kann. Unbedingt probieren: typisch italienisch frühstücken bei Pasticceria Mario Barone in unmittelbarer Umgebung, 150 m entfernt!! Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Allerdings haben wir sie nicht benutzt. ...man ist ja in der Toskana und will das lokale Essen genießen.... Nur ein Hinweis: man muss Treppen steigen. Im Haus und auch in der Wohnung.
