About this apartment rental
The dreamlike apartment in the tranquil Hohen Wieschendorf was completely and lovingly renovated in 2018 and includes high-quality equipment that leaves nothing to be desired. It serves both as the perfect starting point for a beach holiday, but also offers the perfect retreat for cozy hours outside of summer. Nice weather can be enjoyed on the balcony with a partial view of the Baltic Sea, in the rain or colder and stormy weather you can warm up after a walk on the beach in the cozy apartment and find peace. The apartment is perfectly equipped for two people; for four people it is still cozy and comfortable.
The environment
Hohen Wieschendorf is located on the Baltic Sea on the Wismar Bay between Boltenhagen and Wismar. Both cities can be reached in about 15-20 minutes by car. The surroundings of the manor house impress with an attractive range of leisure activities: next to the natural beach, which can be reached on foot in about 10-15 minutes, there is a small marina, which is controlled by sailors and offers a restaurant and a small shop (during the summer season). Wismar Bay is very popular with wind and kite surfers. There is also a golf course in Hohen Wieschendorf (Golfclub Hohen Wieschendorf) with a sea view from the green. The surrounding nature reserve and the picturesque Baltic Sea landscape invite you to take long walks and bike tours. Bicycles can be brought and parked in the basement or rented in the surrounding area. In the fresh sea air, you can simply relax and unwind.
The apartment
The apartment offers an extensive and high quality equipment, which guarantees a relaxing vacation time.
The balcony
The south-facing balcony, which is generously equipped with over 20m², invites you to linger longer when the weather is nice. In addition to a dining table with four chairs, there are also two large and comfortable outdoor loungers where you can relax and enjoy the sunset. The view from the balcony goes over meadows and fields to Hohenkirchen.
The living room
In the living room there is a large, comfortable couch that offers two additional beds (2.0 mx 1.40 m) (pillows and blankets are available). An wing chair complements the seating options. TV (Samsung Smart TV 50 inch, 4K), Playstation 3 (two controllers and some games are available) and a fast W-LAN access provide further entertainment options, even in bad weather. DVDs or Blu-Ray disks (very limited film selection available) can be played on the Playstation and thus enjoy beautiful film evenings. There are also some books and a game collection.
The kitchen
The kitchen was newly installed in 2018 and equipped with plenty of dishes and kitchen aids. The possibilities for extensive cooking, baking and enjoying are thus given. In addition to numerous cupboards, the kitchenette includes a stove with 4 hotplates (ceramic) and an oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine (tabs and detergents are not provided).
A refrigerator offers enough space for your own supplies and is complemented by a medium-sized freezer. So there is nothing standing in the way of ice cream and ice-cold drinks in summer or the storage of frozen food.
The morning coffee enjoyment is optionally via a regular coffee machine (incl. Thermos) or via a small Nespresso machine (please use your own capsules or Bring coffee and filter). Of course, kettles and toasters are also available. In addition, a new microwave (December 2018) is now available in the kitchen as well as an iron and ironing board (storage room).
Please bring your own dish towels and detergent.
The dining area is equipped with a solid wood table with four chairs, where you can enjoy a delicious meal and social evenings.
Blackout curtains are installed in both the dining and living areas, providing a restful sleep.
The bedroom
We were happy to respond to the wishes of our guests and equipped the apartment with a new bed in January 2019. The bedroom thus offers a cozy 1.80 x 2.00 m double bed with removable pillows at the head end, a spacious closet with integrated full-length mirror and two bedside tables with reading lamps. The direct access to the balcony through a double door offers plenty of fresh air and brightness. However, if you like it quiet and dark, you will appreciate the blackout curtains that promise restful sleep. A children's travel bed is available in the apartment, a mattress for this must be brought yourself for hygienic reasons.
The bathroom
The partially renovated bathroom offers a shower with sliding doors, a spacious closet for all kinds of beauty utensils and another shelf as storage space. The towel radiator and floor tiles in a modern wood look exude comfort. In short, a bathroom where you can feel comfortable.
The service
The final cleaning is mandatory and is organized by the property manager, it costs 69 €. Bed linen and towels can either be brought by yourself or booked through the property management (prices per person: towels 9 €, bed linen 11 €, combined package 18 €).
We can be reached by email and phone, a guest service on site takes care of the key handover and other matters. The keys' handover takes place in 23946 Ostseebad Boltenhagen.
