Crystal Home near Airport

A nice room with its own private entrance in a building on a quiet street, close to the seafront/restaurant and to the shops on the main street. This was a one-night stay for a morning flight and a wonderful alternative to a hotel room. The room is quiet, comfortable and has a lot of amenities for the space, including a balcony. We arrived at 7:00 pm and left at 7:00 am and did not hear any planes. The hostess, Marianna, is very helpful.

Clean, comfortable, and very convenient near the airport. The host was incredible, super helpful and responsive.

Marianna was the best! She was very nice and helpful. Even if our flight was delayed for about 4 hours and we ended up arriving around 1am, she waited for us to have a smooth check in. She arranged the taxi in both ways and gave very useful tips about the area. The apartment was at top condition. Prestine clean, smells nice, all we need (shampoo, hair dryer, towel, wifi, comfortable bed, etc.) and much more (homemade cookies, cold water in the fridge, nice snacks for a light breakfast etc.) were available. The room is not the biggest but it was more than enough for me and my husband for 2 nights. We enjoyed with a bottle of wine on the balcony, which was super cozy. Both the city center/main street and the sea/beaches are in walking distance 2-5 minutes.

There was nothing bad about the apartment itself but there were lots of mosquitoes in Artemida even if it was January. We woke up several times in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep for quite a while. It was less of a problem when it gets daylight, but then the house is very close the church. The bell rings several times at every hour. If you have a light sleep, you might want to consider it.

-Incredibly kind, helpful host. She was communicating with us a lot and allowed us to check in about 90 minutes early. She was very nice to us and arranged a taxi to the airport. 10/10 for the host! -Close location to the beach and the town, easy to reach by foot -Basically no street noise from cars - Bed mattress was comfy -Some small breakfast items (we didn't have any, but was nice of them to offer) - Pet-friendly - Nice beaches and some nice restaurants nearby

- Church bell from one block away was ringing loudly and seemingly all the time (3x between 8-9am). Just an FYI for anyone that doesn't want to be woken early on their - Lots of mosquitoes. Not necessarily the fault of the host, as we had the terrace door open for a bit, but we had to kill maybe 15 mosquitoes in the bedroom. Some screens on the windows would be helpful. - Bedsheets were really itchy, so I had to sleep on top of the bed. I hope the owner can buy hypoallergenic detergent for future guests - Shower is small and has a plastic curtain, so the water was escaping and the floor of the bathroom was getting wet - Small bathroom (had to be a bit flexible to use the toilet) - Kitchen quite basic (just a hotplate).. we didn't use it, but for anyone that wants to do more than boil water, its not a great kitchen to use - Kitchen equipment is lacking (no sharp kitchen knife)
