About this cottage rental
PRIVATE POOL!! Welcome to our 2 lovingly restored holiday cottages, each cottage has it's own private pool. At the end of a quiet lane, nestled on the side of a valley, there is no traffic, no noise and no distractions. Despite these tranquil surroundings, we are still close to all the main site seeing attractions at Sarlat, Les Eyzies, Perigueux, Beynac and Domme.
Originally barns, both properties have been recently renovated and are well equipped to provide you with everything you will need for your stay. Newly decorated and furnished, they have a bright and light feel, while still retaining some of the original oak beams and woodwork.
The large bedroom has a king sized bed, with French doors opening out onto the private terrace with private pool. The open plan kitchen, living room and dining area also opens out onto the private terrace and pool area. The living area comfortably seats 2 people, with sofa, dining table and fitted kitchen. The kitchen includes, gas hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. The bathroom includes toilet, shower cubicle and washbasin. Free Wifi is available throughout the property and the garden.

Gite was compact and comfortable, just what we needed for a 2 week stay.
The hosts Karen and Steve met us when we arrived, were really friendly and gave suggestions of where to visit.
The location was perfect, peaceful, but easy enough with a car to reach other places to visit.
We will definitely return!

Nous sommes restés 7 nuits dans ce gîte, quelques points négatifs demeurent. Nous regrettons l’absence des propriétaires et leur manque de proximité (barrière de la langue ?), très peu d’echange. La propreté est limite puisqu’aucun état des lieux n’est fait (ménage = coup de balais + vaisselle), pas de brosse WC, des saladier cassé mais toujours là, égouttoirs à pâte troué, le pommeau de douche qui ne peut se mettre sur la barre car celle ci était cassé. Durant notre séjour nous avons subi une coupure d’électricité suite à un orage, nous avons été à la pêche aux informations auprès des propriétaires habitant à côté des gîtes, l’eau s’est infiltrée dans le logement par les fenêtres car celle-ci sont mal isolées. Lors de notre départ, les propriétaires étaient absents et ne se sont pas souciés du déroulé de notre séjour. Nous avons remis les clés à des personnes logeant avec les propriétaires, ceux-ci nous ont assurés de leur transmettre, le lendemain je reçois un appel de la propriétaire, pas de questions sur notre séjour, juste savoir où était les fameuses clés, après lui avoir expliqué, celle-ci a raccroché sans même répondre à mon « au revoir ». Nous avons cependant passé de bonnes vacances car la région est riche, belle et authentique. Points positifs : piscine à disposition, bonne literie, calme et tranquillité, logement bien situé géographiquement.
