New White Water Lodge 二 Turangi

Turangi is built on the banks of the wonderful Tongariro River, it’s surrounding countryside offers challenging hunting, fishing, mountain biking, hiking or leisurely bush walks, white water rafting, kayaking, sight seeing and much more. Situated half-way between Auckland and Wellington, and known as the "Trout Fishing Capital of the World", Turangi is also home to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing considered to be one of the ten best one-day walks in the world and only 40mins from the ski fields.

White Water Lodge 二 is located on the banks of the Tongariro River and only metres from one of the famous fishing pools - The Honey Pot. It's warm timber interior offers a calm atmosphere and sunlight filled rooms virtually all day. This Lodge features a large wood fire and a air conditioner for the hotter months plus portable fans , with wonderful large windows, five generous bedrooms plus a mezzanine floor to allow your larger family or groups, to spread out. Upstairs you will find your master bedroom with king size bed and ensuite, a double bedroom with king bed, another double bedroom, the mezzanine floor has two pull out couches that converts into beds a shower and toilet. Plus a smart Tv but no sky upstairs

Downstairs features two queen size bedrooms, a full bathroom with double shower and separate toilet, spacious lounge/dining, a sofa bed, an exceptionally well equipped kitchen and laundry. The television has sky connected and also has a google chrome to make live streaming easy .

The Lodge is set on one acre of park like grounds with manicured lawns, native bush surrounds and the song of native bird life abounds. Offering a private setting, you can relax on the large deck and take in the serenity, or, enjoy a BBQ. However it does have a public walkway to the river that runs alongside the property but is shielded by trees .

Turangi township is a very scenic 10 min walk away along the river. There you will find bakeries, cafes, a gallery of arts and crafts by local artists, supermarket, pharmacy, hairdressers, and post office. The i site is also located in the township.

Please note you have no access to the garage .

For added security White Water is monitored 24 hourly by security company at hand. Incidentally this has never been required by guests and security is not an issue.

There is an opportunity for a much reduced nightly rate dependent upon numbers and how many bedrooms are required.
