After seeing the working city (after all the railway is not only a tourist attraction but a commercial operation) we were staying at a rural paradise... rooms were well appointed, the communal kitchen properly stocked. Hosts were not present but a neighbour who spoke perfect English showed us the rooms and kitchen and

Check in was chaotic but this cannot be blamed on the hosts. First, the location shown in the booking.com app and also on Google maps and Open Street Map is wrong. It points to a derelict factory building that let me think of a scam (after all the stay was prepaid because we had booked at short notice). This should be changed as soon as possible - it is still wrong as of today, one week later. The correct location is south west of the church, between meadows and all sorts of farm animals. Then we were asked to call an English speaking number 30 minutes before arrival. However the number shown in the app had a wrong digit... - should be changed in booking.com. When we found the correct number in one of the confirmation mails it was always busy - I guess due to technical issues at Romanian telecom. Finally we tried the Romanian speaking number and after a bit of back and forth an English speaking neighbour was on the line resolving all those problems...

Rustic place in the middle of the town. Rooms were very nice, decorated in the traditional way. Also lots of green (I imagine it was to be expected) around the property. I recommend this place.

Amazing traditional house, located in a quiet, green area. We recommend it!

We liked the traditional look. The hosts were kind and gave us extra blanket and pillow for free when we asked them. The room was clean.
