Experience the best view on Vashon Island, just steps from the North End ferry terminal .This updated, charming cabin is right at the edge of Puget Sound.

Located at the end of the north end ferry dock, the cabin is quiet and secluded, but easy to get to. Built in1923, and renovated in 2018 the house is has modern comfort with many original elements and fixtures. A full kitchen (minus freezer) allows you to create your own meals, or just make coffee in the morning before heading out to explore the island.

Enjoy your coffee on the deck with the seals as you watch the sunrise, watch for orcas from the deck, or have drinks on the deck as the moon rises over the Seattle skyline.

Our goal is to provide a calm and peaceful environment for our guests to enjoy the Puget Sound. Accessibility and stunning panoramic views make it the perfect island get-away. After spending a weekend on the water, you won't want to go home!

Pam was a great host. Helped us with some pre-trip planning ideas and was very responsive when we went to the wrong house at check-in. (Our fault). The house is cute and spacious and has everything needed. The location to the ferry is perfect, but without a car not the most convenient to town. Again, our fault. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. Very peaceful and quiet which surprised us considering the proximity to the ferry landing. We will definitely stay here when we return.

We really enjoyed our week in this lovely little cabin on Vashon Island. The waterfront location was sublime. The cabin was furnished in a classy and subtle way (Thank you- NO signs that said BEACH and an arrow) :D Pamela was a great host, very responsive to communication and providing a cooler for us. The proximity to the ferry was both charming and slightly noisy- it is literally at the ramp of the ferry, lots of ferry traffic through the day. At night it got nice and quiet. We also liked that we could have a friend walk on the ferry from West Seattle and we could meet him, no cars necessary. We made friends with a few seals that swam pretty close and high tide literally splashes the bulkhead. Thank you- we hope to visit this wonderful cabin again!

Our first time on Vashon Island and this home made all the difference. It was clean, up to date, roomy just as advertised in the listing. Kitchen was well laid out and equipped with all we needed, and the front deck right on the water is amazing. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to our emails. Location is right adjacent to the ferry terminal where it took us two minutes to walk to the water taxi to Seattle, a 22 minute ride. Great way to see the new Seattle waterfront--it is amazing. Our host recommended the May Kitchen for dinner and it was wonderful--highly recommended. We really recommend this home.

Check in is a breeze. When we got there in the late afternoon the tide was in. I was pleasantly surprised to see that when the tide goes out, we're on the beach! We had everything we needed for cooking our own meals. We're from the Midwest and had never made coffee "the French way" before, added more culture to our lives! The hosts were sweet and answered any questions before and during our stay. Loved it on Vashon, it's a magical, whimsical place. Good one to put on your bucket list!

We were on Vashon for a family wedding and this property fitted our needs. When we were in residence we were mesmerized by the water traffic. The property was as advertised and worked well for the two of us. Having visited Vashon a number of times we were very familiar with the island so could find everything we needed.

Our stay was wonderful. The mornings on the deck and days exploring the island. The nights watching the Ocean and ferries are unforgettable. We loved everthing about it. We did not leave the island the entire week. There was so much to do. The place was very clean and accessible. The host was very responsive as well. We would love to come back again for sure. Had a lovely quick trip to Vashon. We embraced being so close to the WA State Ferry dock and enjoyed watching all the summer ferry traffic come and go. Very handy if you want to be towards the head of the line for the morning ferry! A little tricky going around the ferry holdover lane to come and go but we had no problems.

We really enjoyed our three-day stay at this property, which is right on Puget Sound, close to the Ferry Terminal. Views from the wall of windows are extraordinary. Wildlife visitors at low tide included several seals and a bald eagle. The living room has a cathedral ceiling, so one improvement we'd suggest, in case it's a rainy day, are a couple of floor lamps for reading.

Almost perfect stay. Million dollar views, great location, and surprisingly spacious. Our only minor issues were that the Roku controller wasn’t available and the coffee situation wasn’t spelled out. It was also wasn’t clear what we should do about cleaning up at check out. We did trash, recycling and gathered wet linen. We were very happy with our stay . Thx Beth and Bob Hoffman

Stayed for 2 nights and will HAPPILY stay again. The host was wonderfully communicative, the house was in the most incredible location (literally right on the water - the pictures are accurate!) and was just what we were looking for. Very private, serene and comfortable. Views from every room too - what a bonus! Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Loved the location, near the ferries on the water. Clean and great views. Probably best in warmer weather as it was difficult to get it warm enough in the main room, kitchen and bath. Bedroom were very comfortable, warmth wise and the bed was very comfortable. Kitchen very adequately equipped and it was clean. Could use better chairs to relax in. Would definitely stay there again.

The amenities are as described in the listing. We flew in, Ubered to Fauntleroy Ferry Station. Bus into Vashon is cheap and works well. No need for a rental car. Very relaxing.

First time app user... the property is exactly what others have said about it. Sitting on the sofa at night with only the fireplace on and seeing the lights from across the water...very relaxing! We enjoyed the ferry watching. We drove all over the Rock and enjoyed the little town. Saturday market was going on and there was good fresh food there. Ate at the restaurants. There is plenty to do on the Rock. The house had everything you needed if you were staying in a hotel plus privacy! We felt free just relaxing on the deck. Bring good coffee! They have a grinder, press and a pour over. Very easy instructions to follow. We hope to be back. The property manager was great to work with.

We absolutely loved this place and Vashon Island! This cute cabin on the waterfront was perfect. I love the simple yet stylish decor, and the outdoor deck was the best feature. Woke up and had coffee on the deck and watched the boats and the ferry come and go. Or sipping on a glass of wine at night and enjoying the coastal lights were both memories we will always treasure!! What a unique and perfect place to get away. Vashon Island is a gem, the restaurants the people and the scenery were all impressive! Definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved it-exactly what my girlfriend wanted. Great entertainment watching the ferrys roll in. We literally “sat on the dock by the bay watching the tide roll away...”. Seals harbor otters and binoculars what more could u ask for. Bed was super comfy and shower was hot. Thanks for the memories!

This was a wonderful base from which our family enjoyed three nights on Vashon. The full kitchen and washer/dryer are a wonderful convenience, and the views are outstanding. The kitchen is very well-stocked, and we had everything we needed. I was nervous about noise with the proximity to the ferry, but it was very quiet, and it felt secluded. Having the cafe next door was wonderful in the morning. One note: we had two adults and two children, and this is really only comfortable for three. Our kids took turns sleeping on the floor because the pull out sofa is a full-size futon—not really big enough for our 8 and 12 year olds to share comfortably. The gorgeous study was a wonderful surprise—a perfect writing nook. We just made up a bed with some of the bedding for one of the kids in there. Lovely location! Highly recommended.

Beautiful location. Right on the wager & next to the ferry. So convenience. Property was clean and had all we needed. Although no freeZer, it was so convenient to grab things for each meal it want missed. They even helped when I accidentally booked one night short.

We came to Vashon Island to decompress after a hectic summer. The cabin was perfect for us. It is steps from the ferry and the Puget Sound. The kitchen is set up well, the mattress is wonderful, we enjoyed the games and the fireplace. Many thanks to our wonderful host.

Great cabin located right next to the ferry right on the water! This place has been totally remodeled and super clean. This one is all about the view with an expansive living area and study that looks directly across the water to Seattle. Check in was simple and it had everything that we needed for our stay. Its on the bus line that will take you into town for a solid selection of restaurants if you don't want the one right next door! I would not only recommend it, we'll be back!

This is a remarkable cabin. It's so easy to reach from Seattle and Tacoma but stepping out onto the deck transported me to a distant vacation getaway. I spent a beautiful week there with my three kids, ages 14 to 22 and they each loved it and didn't want to leave. It was so relaxing being by the water and waking up to the sun rising over the Sound each morning. The kitchen is well equipped and the living spaces are open and comfortable. A truly special spot on the water!

Such a wonderful spot, sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee watching the ferries come and go. Seals, heron and kingfishers to enjoy. This is my second stay and I will surely come back. Would love to be here during a winter storm.

Our family of four was delighted with our stay. Highlights included: hanging out on the deck, watching the tides and the colors of the water change, and seeing various creatures in the air and water. The aesthetics of the cabin are very pleasing and peaceful. The kitchen allows you to prepare meals at home, which our family enjoys. The fold-out couch is on the smaller side, so if 4 people are staying it could be a bit tight, but it worked well for us. Check-in was easy and our host responded quickly to any questions we had. The island itself is beautiful and relaxing. If you enjoy nature and a peaceful place to relax, this cabin will suit you well!
