The cottage was a delightful place for my daughter, my 5 yr-old grandson, and me. We appreciated the toys and books, as well as the coffee, tea, and other amenities. The neighborhood was good for walking. It was especially nice to be able to walk to the shore.
There's no paved driveway, so shoes got muddy. The shoe cleaner provided at the cottage was very helpful.

Super cute. Seemed extremely secluded & was absolutely silent - birdsong only. Good supply of towels & extra blankets.
1. Front stairs absolutely need a handrail! 2. Exterior lacking maintenance. Needs powerwashing. Wild roses soon to take over front porch. All flower beds way overgrown & in desperate need of weeding and/or total makeover. 3. Main kitchen drawer needs competent repair, with wood glue & clamps. Screw isn't doing the jobn it's ready to fall apart. These are obviously cheap cabinets. 4. Wet active mold on shower door front corner.
