About this house rental
Very beautiful 18th century house (lots of charm), careful decoration and decoration, in the superb setting of an old listed village, leaning against the ramparts of a castle of which it is an outbuilding, at the top of a hill overlooking the whole valley. The house is located 2 km from a village with all amenities (doctor, train station, shops, supermarket, etc.) and a few kilometers from Rocamadour, Padirac, Collonges-la-Rouge and Turenne. The environment is superb (direct access to the woods and the meadows of the castle). 20 minutes from the Dordogne river in a region where there are many good restaurants and tourist sites. the village which is a dead end is very calm. Friendly atmosphere and neighborhood. The owners of the chateau, very welcoming, will help you organize a visit to the region and will guide you to the best plans for families or couples.
Although dependent on a castle, occupied by the family, the house has an independent entrance. There is a large terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. It is also an access to the woods and to the meadow of the castle by a lovely little shaded path. The house has on the ground floor a living room opening onto the terrace, with lounge area, dining area, (possibility of sleeping) + fitted kitchen in mezanine and shower room WC. On the first floor, which is accessed by a staircase, two bedrooms each with its bathroom. Bedroom 1 with a double bed, bedroom 2 a double bed + 1 single bed (There is the possibility of adding an additional bed).

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine à Cavagnac, dans un cadre magnifique (le village est très beau).
Nous mettons une petite réserve sur le coin cuisine, que nous avons trouvé assez peu fonctionnel. En revanche un très bon point pour la literie, d'excellente qualité ! La terrasse nous a permis de prendre nos repas dehors et de profiter d'une très belle vue sur la campagne environnante.
Philippe est un hôte charmant qui vous conseillera sur les sites à visiter dans la région et les promenades à faire. Merci à lui pour son accueil chaleureux !

Cette location est une dépendance d'un château riche en histoire et idéalement située sur un promontoire dominant la vallée. Nombreux sites historiques et magnifiques villages aux alentours. Excellent accueil, conseils et descriptif de la région par le très sympathique propriétaire, nous reviendrons !

Le village et la maison sont pleines de charme et idéalement situés pour visiter le Lot, et la Corrèze toute proche.
Accueil sympathique de Philippe le propriétaire.
Un effort sur le menage et les équipements de la maison seraient les bienvenus (vaisselle/plats/cafetière)
Un séjour très agréable dans une région magnifique.
