About this cabin rental
Private waterfront cabin located on the desirable western shore of Rockwood with beautiful 270 degree views of Moosehead Lake and Mt Kineo. The cabin sits on 3 acres of land with a large lawn and 600 feet of water frontage. Step out the front door to over 100 feet of permanent dock that provides protected deep water space for boats of all sizes. Within a couple miles of boat launch, marina, public landing, gas station and bar/restaurants.
The cabin has old world charm with knotty pine walls and cathedral ceilings. Full kitchen and dining room table that can sit 8, large living room, 2 bedrooms and a full bath. Living Room has 3 sitting areas- (1) TV area with 2 full couches, 2 chairs and limited use fireplace . (2) Game/Relax area with full couch, card table and chairs (3) Sleeping area with 2 twin beds. (Will be converted to sitting/Tv area in summer of 2018). Master Bedroom has a queen bed/Second Bedroom-Full Bed and Bunk Bed. Cooking Grill outside and extensive covered exterior space for snowmobiles, picnic tables, etc.
Guest Cottage- Large Bedroom with 2 full size beds, couch, fridge, Satellite TV and full bath. (guest house bathroom only available in spring/summer) Guest Cottage is additional cost per night. See additional fee's. Free wifi but this is not always guaranteed as there can be technical issues with the service. Usually works excellent.
4 Season Activities! Winter-Snowmobile/ATV trail only seconds away with access to hundreds of miles of trails. More than 100 miles of groomed cross country ski trails. Excellent Ice Fishing with the ability of watching your traps from the front windows of camp. Spring-within a mile of Moose River and some of the best spring fishing Moosehead offers. Summer- Phenomenal boating, swimming, hiking right out your front door. Take the boat over to the Mt Kineo Golf Course or hike to the top. Fall- Foliage and Hunting Season.

Perfect spot, pet friendly. Sun rise pictures. Privacy. Fire pit. Deer , loons,a red squirrel that throws pine cones on u . Float planes. Gotta rent a boat next time

This property is simply stunning, with panoramic views of Moosehead and Mt. Kineo providing tranquility and privacy. This cabin provides all of the amenities we dreamed of, and looked forward to. Simply a beautiful piece of property and cabin with tons of potential for family fun, gatherings and simply enjoying the lake fishing, and outdoor recreation such as snowmobiling. Couldn’t be more thankful for an owner who went above and beyond accommodating and being supportive of us. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy this cabin!

Best place on the lake. Well, I dunno any other places on the lake so I’m guessing. But can’t imagine you can get any better than this.
