About this house rental

If you want a private, peaceful getaway to experience all that Maine has to offer look no further. This is a year round waterfront home right on the water located in Rockwood Maine. Swim, boat, snowmobile, fish and ice fish right from the property. This home is in an exclusive association accessed down 18 miles of well maintained dirt roads. Home has a large yard & boat launch area with a dock on Moosehead lake. The perfect family trip for wildlife, kayaking, rafting, fishing, bird watching swimming and sitting by the fire. Home is off grid but has solar with auto generator power to provide all the amenities including WIFI.

Property itself is fine/good. Stayed there in the past. Now, houses are being built on adjacent lots, and a subdivision down the road is in progress dramatically impacting the reason one chooses this location - to get away. Something to be aware of if that is your goal. Pots, pans, silverware and utensils also needed replacement, and upgrading.
