Tranquil Waters Cabin

Beautiful cabin resting on a peaceful river with all of the comforts of home. The owners are kind and interested in making your stay comfortable. Adorable decorations, and loved the screened in porch.

Minimal wear and tear from previous occupants: refrigerator door pops when opening, back door must be firmly closed, bathroom door doesn't latch or lock properly.

Angela (the owner of Tranquil Waters Cabin) was wonderful. Key pick-up was a breeze and so were the guidelines that she provided for check-out. The cabin was perfectly appointed - it had everything that my family and I needed - and its location, in a secluded valley, right next to a bubbling and clear Kentucky stream was perfect. Carter Caves, Cave Run Lake, Natural Bridge and the Red River Gorge were all within a relatively brief drive. An ideal getaway destination for a family of four, or for a couple. Also, Frenchburg, which is about 4 miles from the cabin, has an IGA where groceries can be purchased. One final note: if you enjoy an evening glass of wine, or a cold beer by the stream, don't forget that Tranquil Waters is located in a dry county.
