    It was an overnight stay just because of its proximity to another hotel I was staying. Would be happy to stay again due to it’s central location and close to train station.

    Maiken at the front desk MAKES this property worth staying at. She is one of the most welcoming, kind, and helpful staff I have met anywhere, any time. The hotel is conveniently located a 10-15 minute walk from the central train station in the center of the city. Numerous restaurants, convenience stores, and shops are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. The Nidaros Cathedral is less than 20 minutes walking. One caution. Ask for 3rd floor or higher as the second floor rooms are directly above a bar. While not overwhelming, the bass sounds from the bar may make it a bit difficult for a light sleeper.

    So I have been charged 700$ for 8 nights , with no room service and hygiene; the rooms do not have air conditioning rather than a temperature system. No regular. amenities delivery or changes. It should be a Motel or Apartment housing rather than a hotel. The price is because it’s in Norway otherwise this is one of the lowest quality living you can ever get. I have lived in many hotels in North America and South Asia - in America even a 2* hotel offers breakfast and room cleaning services. The staff are nice and well behaved as in general the way they should. Sometimes they don’t have answers to questions. It’s all about the hype rather than the actual facilities. I do not recommend this place
