cosy, warm, family-run hotel - great value for money.

Breakfast was good, freshly made pastries, omelettes. The decor of the hotel was lovely and cosy and the hosts could not have been more helpful. The pillows were good and the heating was on. Good wifi throughout and we were able to use the fridge in the kitchen. small parking area opposite the entrance to the hotel which is on a very narrow windy street.

the bathroom in room 6 is difficult to negotiate due to steps within. The dark ceilings made it all rather dark.

A great option to stay right in the heart of Arnaia. Even though it's located in the center of the town the room was quiet. Walking distance from the tavernas and main attractions. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The breakfast was good and the view from the balcony in my room was also nice.

Since it's an old building the rooms are not soundproof and you can sometimes hear your neighbors in the rooms next to you. For me it wasn't much of an issue since the neighbors were rather quiet. But that's something you might consider and it's not the property's fault. It's just a traditional old building.

Lovely traditional guesthouse in the most beautiful of the traditional villages of Chalkidiki

Lovely traditional hotel in what is considered the most beautiful of the traditional villages of Chalkidiki. We were greeted by the friendly son who spoke good English, gave us a map showing village highlights and advised on restaurants etc. His lovely mother made us an omelette to go with the usual breakfast things in the morning. Good value, especially as I think we were upgraded to a double room with a sitting room.

Notwithstanding the stairs' handrail issue, a pleasant stay in a nice town.

The accommodation is located in a quite street just off the central town square. The host was most helpful, spoke English and was generous with his time, and local information. His mother prepared breakfast, which was entirely adequate (and in the Greek tradition).

The stairs to our first-floor accommodation had only a partial handrail (bannister), with the upper section, which turned a corner, having no handrail. We, as elderly travelers, consider this a serious safety issue (even without luggage), and a most unwelcome new experience that we didn't anticipate. And while House Mitsiou's stairs had a partial handrail, practically all other accommodations in our Greece and Bulgaria travels had none at all. Choosing accommodations with lifts, while greatly reducing accommodation choice, is the alternative. I should add that our host's mother, recognising our difficulty, very kindly assisted us downstairs without asking.

Very pleasant

Breakfast was excellent, with a greater choice than I could do justice to. The owners were particularly kind.

Just one little criticism: the big ‘double’ bed was actually two singles pushed together but separately bottom-sheeted; but the top sheet consequently only JUST reached the sides of the ‘bed’ and couldn’t be tucked in at all. This was not a problem with single-occupancy but would have been uncomfortable for two people fighting over a moving sheet and and then falling down crack in the middle.... A bigger sheet called for?

Dream hotel in Arnaia

Exceptional boutique hotel located in a renovated old building. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Position is very close to central square and parking can be difficult. However it's worth staying here and I highly recommend to enjoy House Mitsiou and its exceptional offer.

Great location , very clean room, good breakfast, the staff was very polite and helpful , they made us feel like home . The bathroom needs a bit of renovation but it was good. The price made it an excellent value for money place

Feeling at home in Arnea. Very good position, nice atmosphere. The room has been always cleaned up, excellent breakfast (thanks to the madam that every morning prepared fresh for us). Very quiet and peaceful context. I liked it

Schönes Haus in Arnea

Ein wunderschönes traditionelles Haus in einer Seitengasse des Dorfplatzes. Der Vermieter und seine Mutter sind unfassbar freundlich, wir bekamen jeden Tag ein liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück.

Kamer en ligging prima, doucheruimte aan vervanging toe

Het ligt in het centrum van Arnea en is een oud pand. Hartelijke ontvangst en prima ontbijtje, zelf gemaakt door de gastvrouw!

Donkere kamer. Douche/wc ruimte is vreselijk. Bijna geen licht. Wcbak lekte waardoor vloer nat bleef. Extra vloerdoeken hielpen niet. Douche heel klein en kon niet opgehangen aan de muur.Jammer dat de gastvrouw geen woord Engels spreekt want we konden niets aan haar zeggen hierover.

Ο ξενώνας,πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο της Αρναίας είναι πολύ όμορφα διακοσμημένος,το δωμάτιο άνετο και λειτουργικό.Οι οικοδεσπότες ευγενέστατοι.Ο καλύτερος καφές φίλτρου συνόδευε ένα χορταστικό πρωινό.Η βιβλιοθήκη είχε αρκετά ενδιαφέροντα βιβλία για όποιον θελήσει να απολαύσει το ήσυχο μεσημέρι με ξεκούραση και διάβασμα!

Λόγω καλοκαιρινής διαμονής ,η έλλειψη σίτας στα παράθυρα με ανάγκασαν να τα κλείσω το βράδυ.

Arnaia este un orasel traditional absolut minunat. Cazarea noastra a fost o surpriza minunata, un han renovat, extraordinar de bine prezervat, ducindu-ne inapoi in timp in anul 1850 cand a fost construit. O experienta foarte frumoasa. Apartamentul elegant, deosebit de curat, spatios. Micul dejun excelent, foarte bogat si divers, totul gatit ca la mama acasa de catre gazda noastra, o doamna minunata. Ii multumim din suflet pentru ospitalitate. Parcarea linga han. Locatie la 50 m de piata centrala unde sunt taverne, cafenele si magazine si destul de aproape de frumoasa manastire Sf. Stefan. Recomandam taverna To Nostimo din piata centrala unde am mancat foarte bine. Cu siguranta vom reveni cu mare placere la aceasta cazare.
