I've stayed in a 5-star hotel at the beginning of this Thailand trip, and yet Bueng Pai Farm stands out as the single most memorable stay of my entire journey. That says everything. From the moment I arrived, Ron and Siam welcomed me with a warmth and generosity that genuinely moved me. Not the kind of hospitality you find in polished hotels — the real kind, where you feel like you matter as a person, not just as a guest. Every interaction was thoughtful, caring, and deeply human. They took care of me from start to finish in a way I didn't expect and will never forget. The accommodation itself is welcoming, clean and functional — but the view over the lake is absolutely breathtaking. From morning light to golden hour, you sit there and you just... breathe. Something about this place made me slow down in a way no luxury property ever has. Pai already has a special place in this trip, but Bueng Pai Farm is the reason I'll carry Pai in my heart long after leaving Thailand. A very unusual and exceptionally pleasant place. Ten wooden cottages, each with a bathroom and terrace, are grouped at a considerable distance around a large fishpond. Everything is very rustic and simple, and perhaps precisely because of that, a dream of an accommodation. A torch may be helpful at night. There's a beautifully landscaped pool under palm trees and a small pool where the fish are allowed to nibble at your toes. Wlan is free and strong. We greatly appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners.

The only drawback is that it's a self-catering accommodation with a large, well-equipped kitchen with stoves and fridge. You either shop for your own groceries or have food delivered. Bring whatever you need for your breakfast, eggs from the farm are available. Note, that children under 10 are not allowed for security reasons.

Amazing hosts that treat you like family. I woke up for sunrise every day and went to the local temple. You do need your own motorcycle to get around, they helped take me downtown to a lesson. Cannot recommend this place enough, it is a hidden, quiet oasis in Pai.
