About this apartment rental

The Antica Porta di Trastevere is a brand new studio overlooking one of the main alleys of Trastevere, a comfortable and strategic place where you can fully enjoy your holiday in Rome.
It is a modern fully furnished apartment with wi-fi, air conditioning, kitchenette and everything you may need. Within walking distance there are several pubs, bars, bistros, restaurants, etc. that will satisfy all your wishes.
The ancient Porta takes its name from the ancient door, now walled, which is located inside the bedroom and which was once the entrance to the apartment.
The apartment is located in Trastevere, characteristic district of central Rome, the heart of the nightlife of the city because, as mentioned, is full of restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, bars, bistros, wine cellars, disco bars, etc.
It has a private entrance and guests have exclusive access and full use of the entire apartment, with the exception of a closet containing the necessary material for management and maintenance.
It has an area of 30 square meters and has just been renovated; It consists of: - a large double room with a comfortable double bed with drawers, a television, an open wardrobe, a table with two chairs
- a well-equipped and functioning kitchenette
- a bathroom with a shower
is a little gem in the heart of Rome and has all the necessary amenities to spend a comfortable stay a few steps from the main monuments and in the middle of nightlife.
During the hot summer nights it is wonderful to take a walk in the alleys of Trastevere and cool off eating an ice cream or drinking a good cold beer. Many Romans do it, especially on weekends.
Since Trastevere is located in the heart of Rome, almost all the main points of interest are easily reachable on foot.
For those who prefer to move faster, public transport or bike sharing is easily accessible.
Almost all the pubs, bars, bistros, cellars, etc. they are open until 2 am and therefore, especially in the summer, the voices of people who speak and sometimes exaggerate with the volume can be heard on the streets. The windows in the room are tailor-made to reduce noise as much as possible, but those who are light sleepers may have difficulty resting.
Therefore earplugs will be left available to guests.
Since the building dates back to a few centuries ago when the construction criteria were rather elastic, the transition between the kitchen and the bedroom was made up about 180 cm (about 70 inches); the taller people must therefore bend a little to avoid banging their heads.
As for the check-in, the owner will be happy to welcome guests by showing them the apartment and giving them some information about their stay in the apartment and in Rome

Just as it was advertised. All you could need for a short stay. Marcello was kind and thoughtful and let us stay later on the last day we were there. Can't recommend it enough!

The apartment is well situated, though it does get loud at night. Noise cancelling earphones are a good idea until the bar downstairs closes for the night. Very nice place. Clean overall, though the shower needs a good scrubbing for mildew. Overall, I recommend. Host is very friendly and helpful.
