This was a very neat and clean apartment in our favorite part of Rome. We are coming back in October, and hoping to book this same apartment again.

This was a fun place to stay as we visited my daughter who is a student at John Cabot University. My daughter's dorm was seven minute walk from the apartment, she was able to stop by as she went from class to dorm. The street is lively, great little cafes, all in all a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. It's in a great location and was even nicer and bigger than I expected from the pictures. The kitchen was creatively well stocked and we appreciated the Nespresso pods that were available. We expected a bit of noise late at night and from the garbage pickups in the morning since we have stayed in the neighborhood before. The earplugs were a nice touch. Check in was easy and communication with the owner was excellent Thank you! We'll be back :)

The property itself was good... just some minor complaints: the toilet ran, the lights over the shower and bathroom sink didnt work, the batteries in the A/C remote were dead, there were only 2 pillows and 1 set of linens for the bed, some of the dishes in the cupboard and the tea towels were dirty. The complexity of the washer/dryer was like something out of Monty Python. Communications with the owner/manager were very good, the place was decently furnished, and it was generally clean. The neighbourhood itself was a bit of a shock but thats on us for not doing enough research. Travestere is an extremely busy area, its full of outdoor cafes and restaurants which all appear to stay open until 2am. And when I say full I mean it appears that every building is fronted by a cafe. Many of them excellent, all of them packed. Thankfully the windows are double glazed which kept most - if not all of the noise out. Except for the daily arrival of garbage trucks at 6am to collect the enormous amount of trash all over the streets. No thickness of glass can keep out the sound of hundreds of glass bottles being dumped into a metal truck. The apartment and area would be excellent for 20-somethings; I'd happily recommend this place to them, not so much for those of us over 50
