We enjoyed our stay but struggled to stay warm .

The apartment was quirky and interesting. Conversion from a school obviously made it unique. The art work and the rugs were very interesting and added character to the property. The living space was vast and table more than adequate.

we were there as the cold weather started in November. The heating was inadequate. The vast space really requires a log burner. The windows were single glazed and drafty and the curtains didn't keep out the drafts and in one case were coming away from the rod. The choice of furniture was bizarre. The 2 huge leather armchairs took up much of the available width of the room and the small leather settee meant presumably for the other 2 occupants was uncomfortable, cold and too small. We had to drag another settee from the vast space to try and get a comfy seat. This space nesds rethinking! The ensuite bathroom was only just adequate. with a very small shower and a very strangely placed built in wardrobe.

The nicest place I've ever stayed at.

Everything was so lovingly put together. Such a plush, comfortable, warm, inviting home. We felt so comfortable and happy the whole time, the apartment added so much character and warmth to our vacation! We already had very high expectations, and I think every single part of the stay here, exceeded them.

Beautiful, comfortable amazing apartment!

Beautiful quirky apartment with lots of interesting things. Great extras like games and ping pong which we had fun playing. Had such a great sleep in first bedroom it was so comfortable wish I had checked labels on pillows and duvet so I could buy some. Great size and lots of different seating areas. Large bedrooms would absolutely stay again. Not too far from main town within walking distance.

Everything spot on. Couldn't fault a thing, owner even left us milk tea coffee & some teacakes to start us off. Would 100% recommend this property. Approx 12 minute walk to the High Street.

This property is beautifully furnished, well equipped and very comfortable. The hosts are easy to communicate with and very helpful. The local area is very peaceful but you are not far from the lovely local town.

A great wee place with different features

We only stayed for 1 night and booked last minute as a stopping point for a family of 5. The owners were very accommodating. The property owners have supplied great features in the home and amenities for the guests. The kids enjoyed the medieval aspects as they called them of the home. Excellent communication from the owners too.

Gorgeous apartment in lovely town

Huge living room but the furnishings gave it a cosy feel. Both bedrooms large with comfortable beds and good quality bedding. Well-equipped kitchen. Great shower. Approx 15 minute walk into town

Outstanding hospitality! Absolutely beautiful decor of the whole apartment. Very warm, clean and comfortably organised property with thoughtful touches and stylish space all creating fantastic atmosphere and making it a lovely stay for us. We wouldn't have this most exciting experience had it not been for the great host who always responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs and requests.

Superb

Two or three times per year I go away for an overnight with my friends to catch up...as an evening or afternoon just isn't long enough! This was the perfect place to settle in and relax together. The apartment is beautifully and uniquely furnished, giving it a special ambience.

A wonderful place, exceeding expectations!

The flat was wonderfully spacious, especially having an open plan between the kitchen and the dining area, and immaculately clean. When need be, the flat heated up very quickly and was easy to control. There was such a wide scope of utilities available for both cooking in the kitchen, as well as cleaning for the whole flat. There was even a christmas tree set up in the flat for our stay!

Can't think of anything of any importance that I didn't like about the flat.
