Wow. This beautiful home sits on the shore of Lake Superior, with direct access to the rocky shore. Our family enjoyed so much time exploring the rocky shore and just sitting and marveling at the beauty of the lake. Inside the home, in addition to an unbeatable view of the lake from almost every room, there is a cozy living and dining room, fully decked out kitchen with everything you could need, a gorgeous master bedroom, and a master bathroom with a soaking tub to enjoy the lake view while you relax. The wraparound deck and landscaped patio again provide great views of the lake and also a large area to grill, dine outside, sit and relax, and play outdoor games. I truly cannot imagine a better place for our annual family trip to the North Shore. Although I don't even know if we needed to leave the property to get our fill of the lake, but we did venture out each day to explore so many parks and landmarks in the area. We took easy and beautiful drives for hiking and beaching in Temperance River, Tettegouche, Split Rock, Cove Point, Crystal Beach, Sugarloaf Cove, and Illgen Falls, as well as enjoyed great meals, ice cream, coffee, mini golf, and supply stops in Tofte, Schroeder, Beaver Bay, Silver Bay and Two Harbors. I cannot recommend this location enough, and cannot wait to return!

We enjoyed four days at Reflections. This property is AMAZING- with thoughtful planning of the owners to furnish everything possible for a comfortable and entertaining stay. This is a perfect location to explore the sights, or hike and bike the many trails along scenic highway 61, as well as a comfortable place to enjoy the amazing views of Lake Superior or curl up by the fire with a book. We hope to come back again soon!

We had a girls weekend in honor of my 70th birthday and it was spectacular! This cabin is beautifully decorated and maintained. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We witnessed many moods of the Gitchie Gume, including both sunrises & sunsets! The weather gave us perfect late October sunny days—crisp mornings & warm days. We watched movies & made s’mores in the fireplace (yes, roasting sticks provided). Can’t think of anything that would have made this a better place to stay. Highest recommendation!
