ABOUT PEARLY'S PLACE: Pearly's is located in the friendly community of South Venice. It is an immaculate three bedroom, two bath home that sits on a spacious lot with a sprawling front lawn, eleven mature palm trees, other palms and foliage, and a private backyard enclosed by fence and surrounded by additional towering palm trees. Pearly's is an eclectic and fun home away from home, thoughtfully designed with rugs, art and furnishings that will make your stay at the beach an inviting experience. Pearly's offers beauty, comfort, privacy and convenience, and is the perfect stay for your Florida gulf vacation.
Pearly's Place offers you a home away from home that features a fresh and bright eclectic coastal decor and every amenity you could want including a washer/dryer, central AC, and high-speed internet. The well-equipped kitchen features modern appliances including a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, bean grinder, blender, and all the cookware, dishware, utensils, cutting boards, spices and staples you might need to get started on your own gourmet meal. A pantry next to the kitchen makes storage easier after a trip to the market. David, a former chef, takes immense pride in stocking the kitchen with essential tools for making every meal perfect.
Shamrock Park, part of the South Venice community and two miles from Pearly's Place offers tennis and basketball courts and a playground for the little ones; a Club House/Community Center, and miles and miles of biking/hiking trails along the Intracoastal Waterway, and Alligator Creek. Just one mile from Pearly's is the public boat ramp. Pearly's Place offers an additional parking pad for those who may want to bring a boat or invite guests for an evening barbecue. Manasota Beach is just a five minute drive and absolutely one of the best beaches in Venice. For those looking to explore the area, Pearly's is conveniently located and close to shopping, dining, museums, nature parks, and entertainment.
Whether you choose to relax on the front patio in the evening and gaze at the moon poised above the palm trees, or enjoy the spacious and private backyard sunbathing, reading a good book or grilling your latest fresh fish find from Detwiler's Market, Pearly's is home. SELF CHECK-IN: Guests will be provided a code for digital keypad entry so they can arrive at whatever time is convenient for them.
COMMUNICATION: Rest assured, we as your hosts are at your call anytime. If you have questions or problems, we are here to assist you. We will most likely reach out to you shortly after you arrive to make sure the house is in order and to assist you with any issues you may be experiencing like logging onto WiFi or getting directions to the nearest grocery store. Our primary goal is to help you have a care free time while visiting Pearly's.
PROPERTY DAMAGE PROTECTION: A $500 refundable security deposit is part of our fees but guests may instead purchase an insurance policy. We personally recommend purchasing the insurance, regardless of the length of your stay, but you may prefer the security deposit as it is refundable. If you choose the optional insurance policy that Vrbo offers through Generali Global Assistance for up to $5,000, it covers accidental damage to the Property and its contents whether its furniture, fixtures, or appliances. Simply report the incident to the host prior to checking out and the insurance will cover the damage.

Due to local laws and HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Maria & David are gracious, attentive & responsive hosts. Pearly’s Place is clean, thoughtfully stocked, and has plenty of storage. The location is convenient to beaches, bike trails, shopping & dining. This home has been decorated with an artist’s eye. You’ll find it easy to cook in this well equipped kitchen. Wonderful Stay!

Both the location and the space were perfect for our stay! Although we didn't spend a significant amount of time at Pearly's Place, it is well-equipped with everything one needs for either a short- or long-term stay. The hosts were very attentive, both leading up to and during our stay. I would definitely consider renting Pearly's Place again, for any future trips to the Venice / Englewood / Manasota Key area.

We enjoyed all the conveniences during our stay; including the well stocked kitchen, linen closet & beach items in garage. Pictures & description on web site were very homey & accurate.

Our family enjoyed a fantastic week at Pearly's Place!The owners, Maria and David Cook have created a beautiful beach home away from home experience in Venice, Florida. Their house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and was close to everything we needed during our stay. Great free public beaches, restaurants, even a Walmart were only a few minutes drive from Pearly's Place. We loved the clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable accommodations. From the moment we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with Pearly's Place. The owners were very responsive to our questions and offered guidance when we needed advice about the area. We had such a great week we did not want to leave. In fact we stayed one additional night before we had to say goodbye. We loved this house so much we have already inquired about staying at Pearly's Place again for our next vacation.
