About this apartment rental
Apartment Painter ... is a large comfortable double room (with an extra single bed) and a smaller, well-furnished connected single room offering spacious accommodation for up to 4 people. Be on the third floor of an attractive and historic building with 2 elevators. Perfect for short and long term too. There are supermarkets, the local Lehel market, many good local restaurants and cafes. Provided different good quality mattresses that the holidays will be more comfortable. The bathroom is elegant with shower + bath. There is an indoor corridor for drinking coffee or wine, or for smoking. Neighbors are nice, speak english and french. Public transport is fast and easy to access. Only 100 meters from the trolleybus and on the boulevard Saint Stephen the main number 4 - 6 trams. Also the tourist tram number 2. We always welcome our guests personally and help them during their holidays :)
Location: ... the building is one of the Palatinus Palaces (part of World Heritage) in the historic Jewish quarter, where old cafes and local restaurants are bustling. Exceptional area, perfect location. The Danube 20 meters, also possible to see from the window because the apartment has a panorama side on the river. The place is calm, calm and elegant. The inhabitants like to live here. Children welcome. Margaret Island is the other side of the river 5 minutes walk, good place to run and relax among the hundred-year-old trees (impressive). Painter is a great place to stay and enjoy the real Budapest.

You are truly in the best hands with the owners.
They coordinated our transportation from the airport and it was seamless. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly. I’ve stayed in a lot of rental units & honestly, I've never felt so genuinely taken care of.
This was our 1st trip to Budapest, and they made sure we felt confident right away. They walked us through everything — including the GOBudapest transportation app (& patiently sat with us until we had it figured out).
They had recommendations, maps, and tips ready to go, which made exploring the city so easy. They even showed us how to use the washer & the locks (doors are definitely a little different than in the US!) so when they left, we felt totally comfortable & settled.
The apartment was SO comfortable. The bed was amazing, tons of natural light, and plenty of space to move around. When we opened the windows it was quiet, peaceful, and honestly just lovely. The shower was great - hot water & strong pressure (which always matters!). The kitchen had it all & the building was quiet, charming, & felt very “Budapest.” Having a washer is the best
Location is ideal. When we return, we will be right back there again!
They even woke up early to say goodbye and truly cared about our experience. They’ve been doing this for over 20 years, but there was nothing “routine” about the way they host — it felt personal, thoughtful, & incredibly welcoming.

The location worked really well for us. Check-in process began outside with a brief overview of the neighborhood which was appreciated. The apartment is in a quiet area of town, close to the river and many great places to eat. We were very comfortable and felt well taken care of.

Lovely and very clean little apartment, in fantastic location.Owners were excellent at responding to questions before arrival. They also arranged my transport from and to the airport. My flight was very delayed, but they very kindly waited for me and explained everything I needed to know about the appointment. The appointment has everything you could possibly need for your stay, and hosts were happy to help with anything extra you could possibly need.I would highly recommend the personal tours on offer with Janos. I had excellent time and will be definitely coming back.

Had a lovely time in Budapest, the local recommended restaurant is good. The apartment was in a beautiful traditional building and the hosts were very friendly and gave us lots of useful information.
