About this apartment rental
Apartment Painter is a comfortable apartment .
It has one big 24 m2 bedroom with a double bed 160 x 200 cm and a single bed 80 x 200 cm .
In the smaller connected room has a single bed .
Well-furnished providing spacious accommodation for up to 3 - 4 people.
Being on the third floor of an attractive and historic building with 2 lifts, the apartment has stunning side views across the River Danube . The apartment building was one of Palatinus' palaces in the second rich Jewish quarter , where old-time cafes and local restaurants bustle with local diners.
The apartment is quiet and central, with original features including enormous double doors, high ceilings, a traditional ceramic stove for heating and a big, sunny window giving a panoramic river view. Close to public transport links, cafes and restaurants, Painter is a great place to stay and enjoy the real Budapest .
Our welcome package include
grounded coffee , collection of different tea , spices , mineral water in the fridge , cream for coffee , snack .
Also shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom
We provide more towels which guests may take to thermal spas as well .

My personal guided city walks talks about to see my country history through my family eyes , not juts see the beauty of the city but also search and introduce the reality , real people real problems , happiness , compare your and our freedom , economy , discuss how can be that more locals say somehow in communism was easier than today ...
All these questions which too personal to discuss in bigger group . We see on the way all monuments like Parliament , Castle hill , Shoeses , Great Market , St Stephen Basilica , Opera , Jewish quarter , old bath houses . I am felxible how many hours and what time start ..
I do also tours by train , boat to the art village , into the Danube bend , to the most romantic 1000 yo village in Hungary called Szentendre where must to have langos , turos palacsinta , kurtos kalacs and all these in a grandma garden ..
What else I also do panoramic hiking tours over Danube bend . One of them called Spartacus osveny , it is flat excursion with hilltop amazing villages like Pilisszentlaszlo , Visegrad , great views to the bend ending in a forrest restaurant or a late grill lunch in the sandy river beach with the best 360 panoramic views in the bend .. travel by boat , trains , local buses ...
City tour and Szentendre village or Hiking over the bend is
80 euro / person plus few euros travel tickets ..
As I was learning to cook in high school and love cooking since that I like to introduce myself and Jozsef my best friend from village to invitate you for a home made dinner with our stories , hungarian music and the spirit of entering into local peoples life ... ask for menu options ........more than a home restaurant
price is 110 euro / person .

The apartment was excellent and the host was the best. He had so much information to share. The apartment was clean, the kitchen fully stocked and the neighborhood was charming. Stay here!

We enjoyed a great stay in Budapest and the apartment was incredibly comfortable. I loved the building too, with the interior balconies adding something a little different. Jonas and Jozef are great hosts and full of really useful advise and recommendations for local amenities and restaurants. We totally enjoyed our stay and I’d happily revisit and stay here again.

A simple, clean flat with very helpful in-reach landlords. The street, in fact the whole neighbourhood, is full of interest with restaurants, cafes and bars, and is a hub of public transport both along the Danube and round the inner city while being quiet in itself. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Very good place for catching river Donau, only few steps from there, public transportation was easy to go and many good breakfast places very near. Also some good restaurants, little grouceries and a nice bakery and ice-cream shop nearby.
Very silent and safe neighbourhood. Only two minutes to the trams. Easy reach for many sightseeings by foot, as River Donau, Bridge Margarita Hid, Isle of Margarita and the music fountainethere, Houses of Parlament... By tram many others as Millenium Monument and Park Shenyi.
Housemaster was very polite and helpful. The furniture were little bit humble, need to be dated, but bed was excellent and all linen were clean as bathroom and kitchen. And the whole flat was very silent. We think about that accommondation when we next time will visit to Budapest.
