The property is strategically located, making it very easy to reach Cefalù if you have a car. The secure, closed parking space is a big plus, and the green garden is lovely, giving the place a nice summer country house feel.

Unfortunately, it feels like the high demand of the area means the hosts don't feel the need to try very hard. While the place is well-equipped, it feels somewhat dated, and the details were overlooked. For instance, the kitchen tools weren't the freshest, and the dish sponge was old enough that it really should have been replaced before our arrival. Communication from the host was kept to a bare minimum via WhatsApp only, even though it seemed they lived in the same building. We felt more like strangers than guests, lacking the warm hospitality you typically expect in Italy. Inside, the rooms felt a bit cramped and dark, and the memory foam beds were far too soft for our comfort. It was also clear the property wasn't ready for the season yet (in May). The pool area was non-functional, and the area surroundy the pool looked more like an unfinished construction site. Lastly, the additional €9 fee feels petty; it should simply be included in the booking total rather than requiring guests to leave cash behind.
