Château des Demoiselles

Château des Demoiselles es un alojamiento fantástico en un enclave maravilloso, tranquilo, apacible y privado, perfecto para desconectar y pasar unos días agradables con familia y amigos. Las fotos reflejan perfectamente lo que te encuentras al llegar. Todas las habitaciones tienen baño en suite y las camas son grandes y confortables. La cocina es amplia y está perfectamente equipada con todo lo necesario. Las salas comunes son espaciosas y están muy cuidadas. Tiene un jardín extenso y muy bien cuidado y una piscina que la propiedad mantiene en perfectas condiciones. El trato de los propietarios (mención especial a Emma) es amable y cercano, cuidando cada detalle y facilitando en todo momento la logística del viaje, permitiendo a los huéspedes disfrutar de la estancia en plenitud. Muy recomendable. Una experiencia muy grata. Repetiremos, sin duda alguna.

Por si sirve de ayuda para mejorar, porque la verdad es que en general todo está bastante bien cuidado y gestionado: quizá eché en falta que el servicio incluyese productos de higiene básica en los baños (jabón, champú, etc.). Las almohadas podrían ser un poco más confortables. Vendría bien tener alguna fuente de horno adicional. Había alguna contraventana que no cerraba bien. Los aspersores del jardín sería bueno ajustarlos ligeramente para que no encharcasen la zona de entrada desde el aparcamiento. Tener un juego de llaves adicional también sería deseable.

This is a stunning and charming Chateau with a gorgeous setting. The house is nestled on the winery property surrounded by vineyards with mountains in the distance. The outside space is ideal for hanging out with two large tables, 14-16 chairs, under 2 large trees providing plenty of shade. There is another area with a fire pit and comfortable outdoor chairs and couches. In the back is a large pool which we didn’t use as it was only in the 60’s to low 70’s during our visit. There is a gate with a short driveway close to the house that includes an EV charger which came in very handy. The inside exudes old world charm. Large rooms first and second floors with maybe 15-18 foot ceilings. Kitchen is huge with a very large island, plenty of dishes, cooking pots and pans, glasses. Lighting is good. Two dining areas with massive tables. Living room with TV and laundry room finish off first floor. Second floor has multiple bedrooms, all but one en suite. Bathrooms are modernized, most with bathtubs and plenty of hot water. Beds are comfortable and very adequate light blockage. Staff was very helpful, immediately responding to any requests while giving us complete privacy. Grounds were great for leisurely hikes.

The furniture the living room had seen better days. Could definitely use a more comfortable group of chairs and couches. Laundry ceiling light didn’t work. Pillows on the beds were not the best. Really, nothing else.

The property and grounds are very elegant and well restored. The lady who runs the place, Orna, is incredibly nice and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for her.

The one tiny complaint I had is that the bath/shower setup means that the only way to have a shower is to physically hold the shower head.
