About this apartment rental

Case Dena is located in the upper village near the Church of San Giovanni. Well away from the crowds , yet near Restaurants , shopping and Cafes. Beautiful Views of the Mediterranean Sea , Green Mountains , and the entire village. The large private terrace is lovely for intimate dinners , drinks and relaxing vistas of the sunset. Only ten minutes walk from train station. Unique oversized apartment. 115 m2 = 1238 ft2 with an huge terrace of 50m2.
This fully equipped and air conditioned apartment has the best views in town.
Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, including dishwasher.
Comfortable mattress in 2 bedrooms that sleeps 4 plus an extra futon in the living room.
For the 5th guest there is an extra charge of $30 a night.
Full equipped bathroom, with laundry machine.
TV and boardgames are available.
Beautiful large terrace to enjoy ocean views , sunsets, and great meals. You can see the ocean from the bed every morning !

Probably the nicest place in all of cinque terre. The patio on the roof is just for you not shared with others apartments. The apartment is very spacious. This is the perfect location. I gave it 5 stars because 10 stars wasn’t allowed.

Incredible view! Beautiful home. The hostess was very responsive and helpful. The stairs to the property are not for the faint of heart. Because of train delays (Italian trains a wild) we got in late so getting to the place in the dark was challenging but the pictures and check in instructions made it seem like a scavenger hunt. Our only complaint was that the A/C was broken in the master (the hostess was VERY apologetic) and the bathroom was smelly. (I think that’s just what a person can expect with beach town plumbing) overall, it was a home away from home and we were very happy with our stay.

We loved staying at Caro’s place. It was spectacular views, and we were greeted at the train station by Ramona, who helped us get to the apartment and made sure we were well taken care of. Everything we needed was there and the apartment was super clean.Thank you so much!

The location in Riomaggiore is perfect, close to the Cinque Terre trains, close to restaurants, close to shopping and close to many outdoor activities. You won't get better communication from Carolina, the owner of this property. Meticulous details for a accessing the apartment and always a quick response to queries. Location cannot be beaten, with a view that is probably one of the best in town. Facilities were excellent with comfortable bedding, a well equipped kitchen and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. If I could make several suggestions! An electric kettle and a small microwave would be handy. Plus, the stairs are extremely daunting (steep and narrow), so we discovered a luggage service where they come and collect your luggage and transport it up the hill to meet you transportation. The service even includes carrying the luggage down the stairs!! Up too, I would image. Riomaggiore is a beautiful town, and after visiting along th Cinque Terra, I believe the best place to stay.

We enjoyed Riomaggorie very much! The rooftop terrace offers beautiful views. The stairs to reach the apartment are very steep but worth the climb for the wonderful view and nice, clean apartment.

The view from the terrace is absolutely incredible, it is hard to put in to words how beautiful it is. Carolina communicated wonderfully and she made it very easy to check in to the place. The only con I have about the place is that the AC broke before our arrival so we slept with the window open to keep it cool. However, because the window was open, it got quite loud in the morning. Other than that, we had a great stay.

If you are thinking of staying in chinque terre do yourself a favor and stay here! This place was wonderful, great location and had everything we needed. The rooftop terrace was absolutely stunning. It was about a 5 min walk from the train station, and there was a great cafe right below. Property manager was great at communicating and answered any questions we had!

Our stay was spectacular! We had extra (and very heavy) luggage as we came directly from a backpacking trip in the alps. Carolina provided a barcode to use the lift which was extremely helpful getting our luggage up from the train station closer to the property. It took several trips to get each item up the stairs in the building, but was definitely worth it! The restaurant below (Old School) was our favorite spot to eat and the owners treated us like family. The views are amazing from the terrace, we played lots of card games with our teenagers and relaxed there. The property also provided beach towels to use which were helpful because we hiked to each village and swam at every opportunity. There is also a local pesto cooking class in Riomaggiore (we booked on Viator) and it’s within walking distance from the property, others had to train/taxi from different villages. Everything was truly amazing!!

Fantastic visit. Yes, there are many steps to get to the apartment, but sitting on the rooftop terrace in the evenings overlooking Riomaggiore made it well worth it. The apartment itself had everything one needed - games and movies for a rainy day, clothes washer, dishwasher, kitchen items, etc. Carolina was very helpful in answering my questions. Highly recommended!

Caro and Claudio were fantastic hosts and their apartment was absolutely perfect. Even though parking is not an amenity , they found us parking for our car and we never used the car once we got there. They communicated very well before and during our stay. They quickly responded when I had a few questions. The apartment had every amenity we needed and more. It was spacious, the bed ( we only used one bedroom) comfortable, the washing machine was convenient and the terrace was unbelievable. We ate many meals on the terrace. It was so lovely looking over the town and the sea. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from. We visited each of the Cinque Terre villages and we were happy with our choice of using Riomaggiore as our home base. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Loved, loved, loved this apt! The patio is the ultimate! Very modern apt, fully equipped. Thanks for Netflix. Only downside are the directions to get there which need to be updated. Elevator at train station was out of order, so we got confused. When we got to the church, we followed directions, we thought, and ended up at the priest’s house! We had a lovely stay!
