1BR Apartment -4C- Off Park

I stayed here for a month when I moved to NYC. It's in a great location. East Harlem has lots of fantastic restaurants, nearby essentials and the park is a 10 minute walk away. The apartment is steps from 110th Station and has plenty of space for a single person or a vacationing couple.

Excellent unit, basic and functional. Very clean upon check-in and everything as advertised. It's on the fifth floor so make sure you can handle stairs. The neighborhood is full of stores and restaurants and the unit is right next to a subway station so the rest of Manhattan is easily reached. My wife and I (50s) loved our stay and would definitely come again.

The management is very responsive. We stayed for 30 days and were comfortable. The location is safe and vibrant during daytime. Late at night the neighborhood is not the nicest to walk around, but this is typical in big cities with affordable prices.

Honestly, there were some hiccups at the beginning of my stay however the management was very responsive and took care a my concerns. The building is clean and secure and I barely heard another neighbor throughout my stay. The train is right across the street, a fresh fruit man is on the corner every morning, and you must try Ricardo’s Steak house two blocks down (a must- no seriously!), & the pizza place right across from Ricardo’s, also the Mexican place next door to the building has happy hour starting at 12.. and good food. There so many great things that make this place a wonderful place to stay and you get it at a great price. It’s still New York so you WILL see something a little weird every now and then but hey...that’s what makes New York, New York. I enjoyed my stay and more importantly so did my kid. My only recommendations would for management to get softer bed pillow tops and my microwave didn’t work but with all the great food around and having the ability to cook I didn’t even need it. Oh and you’ll have to climb stairs if you stay on the higher floors. Other than those minor things I loved this rental. Save the high priced stays and try this spot you won’t regret it.
