Douro Virtudes Apartments Historical Center

The apartment was spacious and the location was excellent. The terrace had beautiful views over Porto and the hosts were really welcoming and gave us great recommendations for food nearby. I have been to Porto a few times and this is the best place o have stayed, I would definitely stay here again.

Great location in the old town and handy for great eating places.

We were expecting a terrace but got a balcony. Also 6 flights of stairs and no lift.

In a convenient neighborhood. In the tourist section, close to everything. The patio and the view from it were beautiful.

It was a modern renovated space with no charm , except for the patio. The owners were stingy and wanted extra money for sheets, towel and pillows. We were two women and slept in separate rooms beds but they wanted 25 euros for sheets for one bed. There were two tiny synthetic,pathetic pillows, the towels were scrawny and threadbare. The furniture was cheap and rickety. They offered so soap, shampoo or dish washing liquid. Good for a one or two night stay but forget using the kitchen. It was useless. The patio was lovely, but if they cared about their customers they might have provided lounge chairs instead of a tiny metal table and two metal chairs. It seemed they were afraid of being ripped off and kept it as sparse as they possibly could.
