Casaurina Beach on the Tweed Coast is half way between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. It is a pristine, environmentally diverse area within easy reach of surrounding attractions. It boasts a 17km beach/ bike path connecting Kingscliff to Cabarita with easy access to magnificent surfing beaches. The area is surrounded by gorgeous little shopping strips, coffee houses, a cinema and restaurants.
SERENITY at Casuarina Beach is the perfect home for your family holiday or accommodation for the bride and her family on her special weekend. This large 5 bedroom beachfront home has beds for up to 14 people ( 2 of the additional common areas are able to be converted into bedrooms with plantation bi- fold shutter doors- resulting in 7 "bedroom" areas). Bedrooms have carpet and living spaces have polished timber floors upstairs and porcelain tiles downstairs.
From the moment you walk in. SERENITY feels like home... all you need to bring are your clothes and beach gear. Just about everything else is provided!
GROUND FLOOR
A large open plan entertaining area includes lounge, TV, Billiard/ Ping Pong / Card Table, Eating area and Wet bar facilities. Easy view of children in the pool while BBQ-ing, relaxing on the day bed, Hampton Chairs or enjoying a meal at the 8 person outdoor BBQ setting by the pool. Large laundry facilities (including a clothes dryer, iron, ironing board and washing machine + Tumble Dryer) are downstairs near the secure garage (an oversized 2 1/2 car garage with enough room for your jet ski or stand up paddle boards).Bicycles available for your use and we suggest you bring scate boards/ scooters etc to enjoy the ride along the beachfront to Kingscliff or Cabarita.

UPSTAIRS
You will find a spacious open plan living area which sprawls out onto a north easterly facing timber deck. Great space to sit in privacy, enjoy a meal and listen to the waves crashing a few metres away.
The kitchen is well equipped with a butler’s pantry including 2 x sinks and 2 x dishwashers. Modern appliances, gas cooktop and large refrigerator. (Additional bar fridge in downstairs wet bar). Kitchen has an oversized island bench with 4 chairs and is perfect for large families or when preparing meals. Eating areas in addition to island bench is an 8 person dining table and 6 person outdoor table setting on the deck.
The upstairs master bedroom with ensuite has sliding door access to the deck and is a beautiful place to see the sunrise. At the other end of the home are 3 bedrooms, a full sized bathroom (bath tub and double vanity) as well as a play room for children or additional sitting area. This area has a double sized sofa bed that can closed off as a bedroom with plantation shutter bi fold doors.

From here you can walk, cycle or skate along the extensive beach side walking & cycling paths with showers and seating near the beach paths. While the 3.5km coastline of Casuarina Beach itself offers green areas and parks, Kingscliff Village is only a few minutes down the road with many trendy restaurants, cafes and retail therapy.
500metres to the north is the patrolled beach and resorts at Salt Village, while 500metres to the south is the patrolled beach, restaurant and sporting facilities at Casuarina Beach.
World Heritage listed Parks, Mt Warning, Tweed River and the beautiful Caldera are the backdrop of this beautiful environment.
Located on the Tweed Coast, Casuarina Beach is just 15 minutes south of the Coolangatta Airport and an hour and fifteen minutes drive from Brisbane.

Ideally located for family celebrations. Wonderfully quiet and safe location. Immediately out the back is a yard for play, then a walkway/cycle way north to Kings Cliff and out to shopping centre and beyond. Ideal for family cycling. Walkway runs parallel to walkway. Ample supply of bikes supplied by the generous owner. The suburb and cycle way is well shaded with trees and shrubs. The home, amazing for our family of 14, the living areas up stairs and down stands so spacious and relaxing extending to the outdoor areas. The owners generously provided all cutlery, plates, cooking equipment and associated materials The home reflected generosity, trust and ethical management. Oh the neighbours were very pleasant!

The house is really well designed and works extremely well for a big group, the position is excellent. It is however getting a little tired and showing the need for maintenance. The grout in the bathroom needs a good clean or replacing. It looks like it has been originally set up well with all sorts of things you may need but there weren't enough forks for our group of 13 and there were only 12 towels. The pull-out bed is not big enough for 2 adults it really only sleeps 13 not 14 as claimed.

Such a fabulous location with excellent space for our two families. The pool and garden were well maintained and clean. Wonderful outdoor area and kitchen/entertaining space. Walking distance to beach. Pool table was used a few nights.
Sadly the wifi was suboptimal and dropouts were frequent - likely related to the ISP and dated router - contact with the manager was good and speedy but was unable to be sorted as required to be onsite to address the issue which didn’t suit our schedule but I did require to do some work and it wasn’t suitable for that.
Despite the size of the house and ample furnishings, the house needs a good clean. There were thick layers of dust on all windows, shutters, stairs, fans, pendant lights and trims. We gave some of them a clean. The tracks from windows and sliders were full of dirt and bugs. The lack of screens on the balcony sliders meant mosquitoes and bugs could readily come in. They needed to be open as there was no A/C and the ceiling fans weren’t efficient enough for the warm and humid days. The fan in the main bedroom and rumpus only has one speed that worked. We bought a few pillows for some of the beds as the ones provided were old and flat.
The shared bathroom on the main floor leaks water through the shower screen that soaked the mats and floor. There were dried, spilt drinks under the couch we found when we moved a couch to pick up something. We gave the floors a good vacuum with the provided Dyson handheld.
The kitchen is large and reasonably equipped though the pans had loose screws or were very dirty. The coffee machine was excellent and we enjoyed using it. Provision of a dishwasher pod or two would have been appreciated for the first night.
Overall a nice location and good space with a better stay if the house was better maintained and clean. We felt the cleaning fee we paid was sufficient to ensure a high level of cleanliness and maintenance.
