The unit is located in the Solana Beach and Tennis Club Beach complex. Bedrooms feature king-size beds in the two bottom bedrooms with 2 full baths, 4 full-size bunk beds in the large kids room on the top floor with its own bathroom. Complex has pools, 2 spa/jacuzzi, 4 tennis courts, ping pong and pool table. The complex has a fully stocked kitchen with washer and dryer. Dining table seats 12 people. Unit also provides 4 boogie boards, 8 beach towels, 8 beach chairs, 2 umbrella, and many other beach stuff. There is two assigned parking space in the secured garage parking. This property was amazing! I was glad when Mimi told us that the condo was fully stocked. Believe me, this condo is truly FULLY stocked! We had so much fun boogie boarding at the beach, lounging in the chairs, using the umbrellas, and (most of all) playing tennis with the provided tennis rackets and balls. There is also a big variety of games, puzzles and books if you need some downtime inside. The set up was perfect for our group (teens had their own space upstairs, adults enjoyed the 2 king beds downstairs). The kitchen was also fully stocked, we had everything we needed to cook. The condo was also as clean as a whistle when we arrived. I would definitely book this property again and would highly recommend!

Clean and very well equipped for an excellent weak at the beach. All of the amenities and extras were in great shape from beds to boogie boards to beach chairs and beach towels. Excellent! The grounds and pools were also in very good shape. Host Mimi was great to work with also. Would definitely go back again :-)

Our family loved this location and unit. We found the condo to be well-stocked with beach fun items, recreation, games, towels, and more! Very conveniently located near parking garage and brief walk to the beach, restaurants, and other shops. The complex is safe and quiet with quick access to the freeway and other high-interest destinations. Things to note: if you’re traveling with anyone with mobility issues… there are a lot of steps. In the unit - to the beach - from parking garage.

The unit itself is not directly on the beach but it is a very short walk. The apartment is spacious and easily accommodated our family of five adults, with everyone having plenty of personal space. The kitchen and amenities are fully stocked, probably one of the best I’ve seen in rentals. Host was easy to communicate with and helpful. Walking distance to a CVS made it easy to grab quick essentials, and there are plenty of stores and restaurants available nearby. Quick access to the freeway and a 20 minute drive to downtown San Diego attractions, give or take traffic conditions.

We had a perfect stay at this wonderful VRBO! The home was spotless, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was easy to settle in and feel right at home. Mimi was a great host and the house was fantastic! The kids loved having a getaway upstairs with their own bunk beds and TV. The house is very close to the beach and an easy walk to multiple restaurants. The hot tub on the property is also very close to the unit and it was nice to go to after a long day!

We come to Solana Beach often, this is our favorite place we've rented. Great Location, very well appointed, comfortable mattresses, AC that works, and all nice beach toys provided. The layout is perfect, with a nice room upstairs with 2 Full/Full bunk beds for the kids with their own TV and sofa and then two master suites downstairs. Great games for kids provided. Kitchen is well stocked, beach towels provided, etc. You can tell Mimi puts a lot of thought into this place. Can't suggest it enough.

This listing exceeded our expectations. Everything was as promised or better. Owner/manager thought of every little thing to make our stay easier. Beds comfy, kids den was amazing. As noted, ants and stairs are part of the package but manageable. Great value. Condo facility could use updating. Beach was gorgeous. Convenient to restaurants, markets, beaches. Enjoy!

We traveled to San Diego for a National Soccer Tournament. We had stayed at Solana Beach and Tennis Club last time, but needed a bigger place this time and this condo didn’t disappoint. Great space, especially the bedroom upstairs equipped with two sets of bunk beds. Grateful for the three full bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. Very appreciative of the beach chairs, toys, ping pong paddles, tennis racquets…everything you can imagine for us to enjoy during our downtime. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Loved Solana Beach! This rental was perfect for our large family. The most well equipped rental we have ever stayed in. Lots of useful items for beach and play. Condo was clean and as stated in listing. We saw several reviews about ants. This is common in warm areas and we did see them here. The host provides totes to put food in and we found when using the totes and spraying/wiping counters and table after each use it was easy to keep them away. Hope to come back again.

We had a fantastic experience at the rental property during our weeklong vacation in Southern California. We used it as our homebase for visiting nearby beaches, the zoo, Legoland, and hiking. The location is very convenient as it is walkable to coffee, shops, açai bowls, and restaurants. We had plenty of room for the seven of us to spread out and enjoy the kitchen, which was filled with plenty of cooking utensils, etc. But I highly recommend. We hope to visit again someday-been trying to convince one of our kids to go to school around here for college!

We were inside because of cold weather. The heaters even though replaced by homeowner kept blowing out the fuse box could operate ok with one bedroom in use but not 2. We had to reset the fuse box 25-30 times.

We stayed here with our daughter and her family (husband and daughters 12 and 7) and visited with extended family in the area. It was a perfect place to just hang out. There is room to spread out and the foosball table was a big hit for all. The kitchen descriptions in the reviews are not exaggerated. Great for cooking so make sure to bring some of your favorite spices if you like to cook. We hope to return!

My extended family (8 adults and 2 young kids age 3 and 6) stayed here for thanksgiving and the place was wonderful. We had everything we needed for the stay and having a pool, 2 hot tubs and being able to walk to the beach was ideal for our family. My elderly father who is not very mobile had some issues as there are 3 floors in the home. He also was not able to go to the beach as the stairwell was just too long (~130 steps) and steep. We knew this when we booked the place and he was able to get a beautiful view of the ocean from the overlook, which is just stunning especially at sunset. Lots of reviews about ants at this place but we did not see any during our stay but we were very diligent to keep the place clean and not leave food out for very long. Great place overall, we will definitely book here again on our next stay at Solana Beach.

We just returned from a family trip to CA from PA. My daughter attends college in San Diego so we came out for a family vacay before moving her into college. This rental and town were terrific. We never stayed in this area before but wanted a quiet beach town and this was perfect. This unit was beyond adorable. The location is right on the road but a short walk to the beach. It is 4 levels so our family of 5 had tons of room. We’ve rented tons of homes but this may be our favorite. It had everything you need for a beach trip from chairs, coolers, towels, toys…. I’ve never had so much closet space in a bedroom before. The bedding was terrific. There were numerous air conditioning units and fans which helped because it was quite warm. My hubby and teens loved the foosball table too. Yes, we saw some ants but nothing to faze us. The area is beautiful and we took full advantage of the beach location. There is a stairway to the beach with over 100 steps but it’s great exercise! We saw dolphin one day which was fun. We spent hours on the beach enjoying the sun and the water was terrific. Solana Beach is an adorable town. On Sunday we went to the farmers market and bought lots of goodies. We discovered cute shops and restaurants. I’d return in a heartbeat and will definitely book this unit again.

The location is great, the rental is awesome especially if you have kids. The "kids" room is amazing and the bunk beds are sturdy. The only problem with getting to the beach are the steps but as long as you can walk up and down the steps you will be good to go. We used the hot tub and tennis courts everyday and the already supplied beach gear (chairs, towels, boogie boards, etc) was perfect. Totally recomend. Charles

The size of the rental was perfect. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and essentials for cooking and playing at the beach. They had games and a foosball table for entertainment. I loved that they had Dyson fans and portable AC units throughout the rental. Made things nice at night for coolness and sound dampening. They were very aware of potential ant issues and provided bins for opened food. I feel they were quite thoughtful in their preparations. We had a great time with our family and a few friends. The beach is very walkable and somewhat secluded from the public. We loved that there was plenty to do close by and had an excellent time. I’d definitely return to use Mimi’s rental.

The description for this property wasn’t very detailed, so we were a bit hesitant about renting. We couldn’t have been more pleased with this condo! It is in a gated complex in a nice neighborhood. Parking is in a garage, just steps from your front door. The lowest level has the master bedroom with en-suite bath, a second king bedroom and hall bath. The top level has what we called the ‘Teen Cave’, a very cool room with two double over double bunk beds. The host has provided everything you need and more. The kitchen is fully stocked, with a nice coffee machine and even an instant pot. Other things were available that typically aren’t provided in rentals such as; laundry detergent, dish detergent, coffee pods, creamer, sugar, etc. There were plenty of bath and beach towels. We were pleasantly surprised to find ping pong and pool table accessories, coolers and beach gear for our use. The condo was very clean. The only drawback was ants. We kept our food closed up as much as possible, but the ants were persistent. There are ant traps and the host has requested that vinegar water be sprayed. All that did was get the ants wet. Maybe professional treatment is in order. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

We stayed at Solana Beach with our son, daughter-in-law, 6-year-old grandson, and 4 year-old granddaughter. The layout of the condo was perfect for our group. The children's room could not have been better designed. We were all able to enjoy ourselves separately and tougher. The location was ideal for what we wanted to do.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. It is steps from the beach that has the most amazing sunsets. The place has a football table, video games and tvs in every room. The kids had fun with the beach toys and hanging out in the house. Note - There are condos that face the sea. This is not one of them. But it is very close

Had a great stay. Good location walking distance to many options. Close to beach. Close to Food and shopping. A bit noisy with all the construction going on across the street but to anyone who knows Solana we are excited to see what's next. This will hopefully be a great new addition. As far as a place to call home for a week it was great less the construction going on but worked out for us as it was the alarm clock for all so we got up and out of the house!

Mimi and Wendy were very friendly, easy to communicate with, and have an amazing home...with everything you might need for a fun family stay. The house is spacious, comfortable, and located in a friendly gated community. We LOVED the 180 stairs to the beach. The house is in walking distance of many great restaurants, shops, and commuter rail into the city. We'll be back!
