SARAJEVO-ADI APARTMENTS

The hosts were very lovely!! One of them super kindly brought me a traditional homemade Bosnian sweet drink! The place is also super affordable and it was great having kitchen facilities available.

No fan/air con - I managed fine without by just keeping curtains closed all day, but something to keep in mind if you struggle with the heat. Also the key was quite difficult to turn in the lock - would sometimes take a couple minutes of trying to hold the door in place in order to get it to lock.

I loved the location, the walk down into Old Town is beautiful. The apartment is clean and tidy. The courtyard outside is very peaceful to sit for a morning wake up in the sun. The host is amazing, very warm and welcoming. He stayed up late when my flight was delayed, the first morning he gave me directions into old town. Wonderful man. As a solo woman travelling alone for the first time, I felt very nervous when arriving at nearly midnight. Especially because the front of the property is a restaurant and I was worried I was in the wrong place with no working eSim to get help. The host immediately made me feel safe. The WiFi was great, the shower gets very hot if needed. The apartment really has everything to be a perfect base for Sarajevo adventures. The fridge kept my water VERY cold which was perfect in the heat. I hope to return to Sarajevo in the future to explore more of this beautiful city with my son and I would love to stay here again Thank you for making my trip so comfortable

You really can’t beat the value for money. I mainly needed a comfortable place to shower and sleep. The kitchen was fully equipped and even included useful basics like salt, pepper, and olive oil for anyone wanting to cook. I didn't, but yea... There were also convenient services nearby, including a bakery, supermarket, and a bar. FYI, the apartment is a private annex to the main house. Adi, I’m cheering for you to quit smoking - all the best!

The only downside was the steep climb up to the apartment. It was completely manageable for me, but I can see how it could become tiring for some people, especially if going up and down multiple times a day. That said, taxis were easy to find and inexpensive, usually costing around €4–6 for a quick ride up.

Very reasonably priced accommodation which is only a 15-minute walk from the city centre. The place was clean enough and had all the basic facilities you need. The bed was also very clean and comfortable.

The description didn't make it clear about the location of the property. It's just a small building in the host's back garden. I felt perfectly safe there but I found it a bit weird at first. Also, as other have mentioned, the property is located at the top of a very steep hill. Lastly, while the place was clean, it could definitely do with some work. I think there had been a leak at some point. There were water stains on the ceiling and mould on the walls. The place stunk of damp and, even though it was the middle of summer, the towels didn't dry the whole time I was there.
