A beautifully located and well-decorated place with friendly staff

The location is fantastic, and it's possible to park right in front of the hotel. The staff is friendly and makes you feel at ease. The house itself is beautiful and nicely decorated.

I was a bit confused about the check-in process, but everything worked out in the end.

Central, cozy, clean accommodations

We stayed in the Hunter room in March for a ski trip, with a large, comfy bed and a sofa bed as well as a private bathroom with jetted shower/bathtub and a mini fridge. I think it was some kind of memory foam mattress, very comfortable. The host was great and made sure we had everything we needed. We (woman in her 50's & 2 young adults in their 20's) enjoyed sitting in the warm, cozy living room to catch up with other travelers. It's a basic hostel and we were there to ski, not live in the room, so it was perfect for us! The biggest perk was that it was only a 5-minute walk to the gondola and that we weren't in the center of all the hotels and touristy shops.

Disappointing.

The hosts were friendly, but only communicated by email. The inn was located in a convenient place near downtown.

The entryway was cluttered and the floor was dirty. The hosts requested that we remove our shoes which we did, but we had to walk on the dirty floor. The jets did not work in the bathtub in our room. There were only two lightweight dark towels provided. Most hotels have white towels so you can easily judge their cleanliness. It was expensive because we stayed on a Friday night during Octoberfest. We were unable to use our breakfast vouchers because we had to leave at 7:00 a.m. and the coffee shop didn't open until 7:30.

CHARACTERFUL LODGING WITH SOME MAINTENANCE ISSUES WELL LOCATED ON A BUS ROUTE TO THE MAIN UPLIFT.

THE STAFF AT CUPPA JO’S WERE VERY PLEASANT. THE WALK WAS NOT TOO FAR. THE CAFE OPENED EARLY ENOUGH TO ALLOW US TO MAKE AN EARLY BUS TO THE UPLIFT FOLLOWING BREAKFAST.

SADLY NOWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS OUR PREVIOUS STAY WITH BREAKFAST AT FIRESIDE INN IN RESPECT OF QUALITY OR CONVENIENCE. ON MONDAY 29TH JANUARY WE ARRIVED TO EAT AND WERE TOLD HOT BREAKFAST WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MEMBER OF STAFF HAD NO IDEA WHEN A COOK WAS LIKELY TO ARRIVE.

Very organized! New exactly how to get in, where to park, where the key was and how to find my room. Location was perfect! Sage was super sweet and it was exactly what I needed for a couple days. 😊

Poor communication, poor customer service.

The owners need to decide if this is a hostel or a B & B. Two Hostel guests completely ruined our stay. They were up until the early hours in the communal lounge below our room. They were noisy and either high on drugs or inebriated. One was abusive when asked politely to be quiet. It was very frightening. The owners were unresponsive in fact we did not see them throughout the stay. They left the problem to a pleasant but ineffective young woman. All communication with the owners was via WhatsApp. It was very impersonal

wonderful relaxing two days

.. Quaint quiet locale yet just a quick walk to local restaurants and shops - lovely corner natural gas fire place warmed our hearts to no end even as the late spring snow fell .. Clean spacious bedroom sitting room with ample storage for luggage. The jetted deep bath tub was a welcome surprise! Owners are personal and Sage was as kind as can be .. A1 Holiday!! ..

Hadn’t wanted our time to run out and to move east .. however Woodland Park visit enroute was super fun!

super cute b&b! location is extremely convenient, just 2 blocks from the gondola and it’s easy to walk right there. hosts are so incredibly nice! b&b is cozy, has really nice teas, includes breakfast vouchers, and there’s a great breakfast place just a block away. would definitely recommend as a reasonably priced option in breck!

only 1 small hot tub inside for the whole place, so you might not be able to use it every night depending on how busy. parking situation on Sunday morning is not a huge deal, but is slightly annoying (you have to move your car).

The Fireside Inn was such a perfect spot for our first trip to Breckenridge. We will be back!

It was comfortable and toasty by the fire. The people were friendly. We stayed in the Wildflower Room, so they provided us with a breakfast voucher which we used at one of the breakfast spots in town.

Location, location, location, definitely had a family feel. Variety of interesting people! The walk to the gondola very convenient!!

We were not informed about no shoes. Tables were always being used by one person working, maybe have a working place. Not a fan of the Luke warm tub.

Good value for money to be close to gondola

Good location & friendly feel. Nice host. About 10 minute walk to Gondola in ski boots. Great variety of Skiing on great quality snow. Lots of bars, cafes & restaurants nearby (5 minutes walk). Also a free bus stops out the front of accommodation to access Gondola or other lifts & starting points. A good setup at Breckenridge

A lovely old inn in town!

The owner/ manager is very attentive, the location is great (close to restaurants and cafes), and my room was cozy.

The entryway is a bit tight when others are coming/ going and be aware it is part dorm/ hostel so there can be quite a few people milling around the common area.

Good location and comfortable enough but, at the price, the breakfast voucher is pathetic.

Good location with all shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Car parking arrangements were very good (and free).

Given the nightly rate for the room, we felt that the breakfast voucher worth $10 for the two of us per day was really quite pathetic: $5 buys not a lot at eating places in Breckenridge. The “remote” check in, access and check out processes all worked perfectly smoothly. We had no cause to call on our hosts for anything. However it would have been better if, at some stage during our 2 night stay, we had received a personal welcome from one of our hosts.

A charming old house but lacking in facilities and service as a hotel.

Location was very nice, close to main street and restaurants. Charming community room with rudimentary facilities for self catering.

No breakfast served, only $10 voucher for first night. Bed and Breakfast without breakfast was a letdown. Tiny room with awkward shover facilities. No staff to be seen at check-in, check-out or during my 5 day stay.

Perfect for a Mountain Honeymoon!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and will DEFINITELY be back in the future if we’re ever in the area. Our room was clean and cozy, the coffee/tea bar was wonderful, and it was awesome being close enough to walk to downtown while also being far away enough to have some space. The hosts made sure during our stay that we were having a nice time as well - would recommend!!

We truly had no complaints.
